The Department of Mysteries has its own set of entrance criteria, but as Hermione is about to discover, it's not slaying a dragon. It's not even wrestling a troll. It's something far, far worse.

Reviews for Falling
Thank you, dear, my skin also tingles pleasantly and I am fortyfied enough to start Sunday barbecue!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Lol, I'm thrilled to have helped! Have a lovely time - hope it stays nice for you :)
Absolutely loved the update, especially the conversation Hermione had with her parents:-))
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I loved writing that phone conversation - so much so that Drs Granger make another appearance later on. No one can puncture the illusion that you're a competent grown up like your parents.
I like how this is developing so far, and am very much looking forward to the next chapter! Cheers!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Thank you very much! The next chapter is in the queue
Wow I'm glad I didn't completely over look this story. This is wonderful.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I'm glad you found this story, too! Let's hope you find your way back soon... :)
Hermione should consider taking pilot's lessons. A broom is like a helicopter: if the power fails, it drops. But an airplane that's lost power will glide for miles if you have enough altitude, giving you time to find a place to make a deadstick landing. And it doesn't take talent; it's a learned skill.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
That's actually a very good idea! Although words 'deadstick landing' might put her off...
Response from Very Small Prophet (Reviewer)
It's been decades since I last piloted an airplane, but I still remember the saying that the two most useless things to a pilot are the altitude above you and the runway behind you.
Poor Hermione her worst nightmare. I have a feeling that Severus will be finding something useful to do soon.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Not an easy challenge for poor Hermione, I'm afraid. Snape becomes very useful soon!
Ok, now I am completely hooked by your story. My poor darling Severus, does he need to make a friend? Well, it doesn't matter as I really like this tale and will wait with anticipation for an update. Thanks for sharing!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
That's a very good guess! And it's almost... sort of... heading in the right direction...
Totally loved the update, thank you so much:-))
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
No, thank you! I appreciate every review :)
What an interesting story. I just started to read it and am finfing that my interest has been wetted. I really liked how you showed both Severus & Hermione back story. Poor Harry has always been such a worry wart. I also liked your Severus trying to make a new life for himself. Lookinf forward to your updates.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Thank you very much! Let's hope I can keep your interest...
Thank you for reviewing :)
I'm lousy at reviews, so I'll just say that I' m enjoying this story very, very much and look forward to the next installment. Thanks!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Hee! I'm not all that brilliant at replying at reviews, but let me just say thank you very much for reading and reviewing! The next chapter is in the queue...
I wonder how long it will take for them to realize, they are not so lonely when they are together.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Well, they are both quite clever... hopefully not too long!
Falling, both literally and figuratively, I see.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Oh, yes!
I do hope you will write more on this. I have really enjoyed it especially Hermione's Moms remarks about Severus.
Very cute and sweet. I enjoyed watching Hermione and Severus learn to trust together. Thank you for sharing.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Thank you very much :)
Aww, a cute ending. I had hopped for a bit more fluff, not that everyone writes that- bit I still enjoyed the story as is, especially the part where she tells him to trust her. Thanks for sharing your work with us!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I might have enjoyed a bit more fluff, too - and I think this story could have coped with it - but I was working to a deadline with this one. Maybe if there's ever a sequel? Who knows...
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave so many reviews!
Loved this fic, really lovely story, thankyou 😊
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Thank you ever so much! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply - especially to such a kind review x
Aww, that was mean, getting our- I mean, Hermione's- hopes up like that! Lol. He should have kissed her! Well, he never sends to do things in a rush, so he will be slow at this too. More please! :)
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I am a bad author and cannot resist the urge to tease my readers like this! It's a failing, but one I embrace!
I cracked up at the non-newt-only-one liquids waving their little yellow fingers in time to the dulcet baritone of Barry White singing "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe." And if Hermione is intent on getting that job, the only thing standing in her way is learning how to fly. LOL!Beth
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I've actually played with a sub woofer speaker and some cornflour/water mix and it's just as odd as it looks in videos. I can just imagine the ministry poking it and asking 'where is the magic?'
A job well done. Loved this story, bringing two people together to get over their fears was a great idea, and shows us we can over come many things if we trust the people who show us the way.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Thank you very much for reading this story and leaving so many thought out reviews along the way! It may have taken me forever to reply, but I enjoyed each and everyone.
This was a delightful story! Just the perfect thing to usher in fall. Thanks for writing!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
Thank was a delightful review - thank you very much
Totally trilled for another great update. I bet Severus will get his spinted wand too, he does trust Hermione, doesn't he?
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I think he's let himself start to trust her, which is enough for now :) Enough to get that splinter in his hand, at any rate!
Thank you so much for seeing this through to the end!
I guess I am rigth when it is not others trust Severus must gain, but his own ability to trust somenoe else? If any it will be Hermione:-)))
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
You already know the answer so I don't have to worry about spoiling anything by saying, yes, completely! And it was Hermione :)
Wow, just stumbled across this in a 'random story' moment, and was so disappointed to find out it was a WIP. But so excited to realize it's a WIP that's actually being updated! Can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
I think learning to trust someone is hard for most people But we have a good start here. They both took a step forward to each other. Great Chapter.
Response from anoesis (Author of Falling)
It is hard, isn't it? Especially after everything he went through. But like you say, we have a start :)
Thank you
