I think I've guessed what his paper says. Something to do with trust? Maybe he thinks someone needs to trust him where really he needs to trust them? Either way it is a lovely story. Your characterization is spot on and just enough conflict to slowly tighten the tension. I think I'm "falling" for your plot. :)

Always heard the best way to have a woman become attracted to you was to engage in an exciting activity together. Does Severus even know that he is trying to gain Hermiones attraction? Hmmmmm, looks like fun. 

Oh yes, I think Hermione very much wants to come with him. *wink wink, nudge nudge*This is a very captivating story. It is so easy to imagine Hermione wrapped in the safety of Snape - she always was a very trusting person. Now we must only hope that Snape does not have to be alone for the rest of his life. :)Also: Snape smoking is just so spot on!

The whole chapter was very informative on their interaction but the last line was the most revealing part.  I wonder what he is really ask her.  Update soon I really really want to know her answer.

It seems Hermione has control issues, she trusts no one but herself, hopefully Severus can change that.

I loved the conversation with the parents.

Maybe the DoM will kill two birds with one stone.  

Perhaps Severus' task is to talk to Harry about Lilly, as that is what he has been trying to do. Hermione needs to have the same faith in the broom that she has in her wand, they were both just bits of wood, until someone put magic into them.

 I loved the way Harry spoke so soothingly to his broom, very sweet.

Uh oh, Hermione's in luuuurve! So how long before they figure it out together and shag in mid flight? Lol. Cute story so far, can't wait to hear more!

My oh my, I do love the Grangers and the easy way they talk and tease each other. Great hopes for Severus and sure happy and thrilled for Hermione, must be nice to have those arms catching you when falling... or not!

I'm loving this story so far, I like that they are all still friends, Ron is too often cast as a bit of a bad guy! I loved the conversation with her parents, it made me chuckle!
