Severus listening in - good touch. Victor kissing Hermione - if she said friends then he is in deep trouble.

Interesting set-up - I can see Hermione teaching there and following McGongall's footsteps. Good first chapter. Throwing Krum into the mix - nice touch.

I was going to read all the way to the end before commenting, but Minerva's little lecture got me all riled up. Double standard, indeed! With Tonks and Remus under her nose. She needs to pull that nose of hers back in where it belongs and keep it out of Snape's romantic business!

She doesn't know Hermione like she thinks she does if she thinks Krum is a better match for her than Snape.

I hope she (Minerva) comes to her senses sooner rather than later, or at least keeps quiet with her opinions.

Ahh!  Such a lovely lemony flavored ending!  Good show!  Did you say that you were going to do a follow-up story to this?  I hope so since they are still at Malfoy's mansion and have no idea why Krum became such a violent ass.  Imperio'd?
