That's very dark. Remus shouldn't blame himself so much. After all he didn't have a choice. And maybe Severus has enjoyed it so much because deep down he loves Remus too. That's probablt the only thought that can alleviate Remus' guilt.

Poor Remus,  I hope that Severus will be able to see what saving his life has cost Remus.   This was a really good chapter.  Well worth the wait.  Please update soon.

Aww, I think this might be my favorite chapter.I loved Severus' initial response to Minerva's questions. Priceless.  I'm surprised there weren't a few faintings or a heartattack.  And way to go Hermione.  I want you to know that I got a little teary-eyed when Severus said what he did to her and gave her points.  Seriously.  I even sniffled.And his helping Remus with his transformation.  And the playing!!! (as a dog person I give that two thumbs up).Much awesomeness.

Surprise!  Instant family.  What a great epilogue!  There is so much to like, and a happy ending to boot.  I like the friendship between Severus and  Hermione, and that Remus drags him out in a effort to make him social.  The best part, though, is that Severus took the news about Teddy without any fuss... even though it means that time for hot kitchen sex is now down to twice a month ;)  Thanks for another great story!

Love Hermione!!  She doesn't often play a role in stories where she isn't one of the main pairing, but she fit perfectly here!Great chapter - I especially liked their interaction during Remus' transformation.  A wonderful tale of healing and redemption!

Well, as evil and insane as Bellatrix was, she did one good thing before dying - exposing the truth of Remus' feeling toward Severus.  And clever Severus - using the wolf in Lupin to get what he wants!  Lovely chapter!

Oh, wow - this chapter brought tears to my eyes.  Poor Remus & Severus - both thinking the other loathed them and for Severus to discover the truth under such horrible circumstances.  I'm glad he had no problem killing Bellatrix!! This is such an amazing story - such powerful images and so well written!  I'm really enjoying it and am hoping for a happy ending!

I like the way Severus turned out.  And Remus deserves a whipping for that behavior at the end, but well, very Remus there.

Well, that went much better than expected.  I'm glad that Snape was able to be upfront about his feelings, because Lupin seemed to be adamant about having continual guilt regarding the night of the curse breaking.  Does this end soon, or are we just having a moment of content before we board the last train to angstville?
