Reviews for Untouched
Sigh. Those two. They are going to die rather than tell each other that they have real feelings.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
You didn't somehow managed to have a sneak peek into the next chapters, died you ;-)Don't worry; all will be well in the end. And thanks for reading and reviewing!
This was another awesome chapter. I feel for the both of them. It is clear that they have feeling for each other but with the situation that they are in feeling are going to be the last thing revealed. Especially with Severus. I hope he can find Lupin.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
He will, but it won't be a nice sight. Bella is mad, and she likes her tools. But don't worry. All will be well in the end. Somehow ;-)
Damn crazy woman! Love the way you portrayed Snape's need for Lupin, however reluctant. :)
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Thanks, dear!
Evil cliffhangers.... If Bellatrix has hurt Remus, which I guess she has, I want Severus to hex her into small pieces, after he has inflicted some serious pain on her that is. Have Bellatrix found out that Remus is the one who saved Severus, and the one who keeps him alive and sain? Or have she captured Remus for other resons, the main reason being that he fougth for the other side? Update again soon, I look forward to see how this goes (happy endings are craved)
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Due to RL issues, I won't be able to post the next chapter before mid January, sorry. But to put you at ease... Bella won't survive the story. And I am craving happy endings, too ;-)
Interesting! I can't wait to see where you go with it!
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Down a dark path; into death's realm. But in the end, all will be well ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
God, they need to talk. Really talk.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Problem is, they can't, and they won't. You know Snape - is he known as someone who talks? Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Oooo, I didn't expect this development! Poor Remus, though. I understand Dumbledore's reasoning, but he (Dumbledore) seems to completely invalidate Lupin's thoughts and emotions on the matter, and forces him to stay – such an act could breed resentment in Remus toward Dumbledore, but also toward Snape, which wouldn't be good :( He may begin to see Severus as not a person he desires, but as an invalid, a chore, an object that he's being forced to take responsibility over. That wouldn't bode well for the two men's relationship/friendship...Please know I'm not criticizing anything of your story, only Dumbledore's behavior, who you write so closely in character! It is a testament to your skill of writing that I, one of your scores of readers, become so drawn into the story... that your characterization of Dumbledore is so much more than the usual two-dimensional portrayal many other fics present, that I think of him as a real person, and am angry at him for his mishandlinhg of the situation – but the way you wrote him and the entire situation is utterly believable....Err, yeah. Hope that made sense. Nutshell: you portrayed Dumbledore very, very well, especially in this scene. I'm angry at the character, but am in complete love with the whole chapter. And I'll shut up now 'cause I sound like a babbling crazy person. (Sorry!)Very well done, can't wait for the next update!
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Hi, there, next chapter is in queue; I hope you'll like it. Thanks for letting me know about Dumbly - I like the man and usually try to portray him in a friendly way. Here, he tries to protect both Remus and Snape, with dubious success. How should he have managed the situation, what do you think? Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Response from KingPig (Reviewer)
Sorry it took me so long to respond! Granted, this is your (completely awesome) story, and your brilliant portrayal of these characters, and I don't ever want to suggest that you've done anything less than amazing with the story so far, so please, please know that I am not, will never critize your gifted writing skills. I like Dumbledore this way, in your chapter, because it feels more realistic, more... almost canon-like. It's obviously for Snape's safety that he is requiring Remus to stay, and the way he goes about ensuring that Lupin won't leave speaks volumes about how weary Albus must be after the battle, his slight impatience that Remus doesn't seem to grasp how crucial it is for him to remain at the castle in order for Severus to survive, as well as the slight irritation with both men at their inability to even attain a semblance of civility, even if it's only a pretence. In short, under the circumstances, I believe he handled the situation as best he could. Just, as an outsider, and one that hasn't just gone through a huge battle against one of the darkest wizards of all time, nor felt the loss friends, students, former students, etc., nor am I exhausted or .... the multitude of other emotions I'm sure is bubbling within the elderly man – I just felt that if I were Remus, I would have felt very invalidated and used, especially being ordered to do something I most likely would have done of my volition. I'm just feeling bad for Lupin, especially in light of the "incident" of the previous night, and the amount of self-loathing he must be burdened with. It just seems as though Lupin was, in a way, reaching out to Albus, attempting to communicate that he, too, is terrified of the situation, but Dumbledore seems to dismiss that entirely, in effect saying, "Deal with it. There's no escape." Does that make sense?
So sad that neither one wants to tell the other of their... weakness. It seems that their feelings for each other formed a strong bond, and neither are aware of why it happened. I wonder how long it will take them to get there?
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
It is not that they don't want to, it is that they don't dare, fearing the other one would be even more disgusted. Sad indeed. The bond is strong, though, but it needs a bit more pressure before the truth is revealed. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
That was another great chapter. Very informative. Fireworks are sure to go off with Lupin and Snape together. I like this pairing.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Thanks, dear. Once Bella is back in the picture, there will be more than fireworks ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
OMG! This is a far more terrible curse that expected. I know this will be hard for Lupin to be close to Severus knowing the other man do it by necessity instead of willingness. Hopefully, with time, Severus will realize that he not only need Remus, but want him too.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Snape already knows he wants Lupin; problem is, he cannot tell as he believes Lupin hates him. I'll try to solve this problem, promise! And thanks for reviewing.
Love the way this parallels Unkissed. :)
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
:-) Thanks! Though once Bella is back in the picture, the parallelism will cease...
This is an intensely riveting story. I can't wait for the next update!
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Will post the next chapter tomorrow. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I did't really understand what Remus is going to do until the end. That's terrible what's happening to Sev. I really hope he can save him.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
I wanted to keep it vague; glad I managed to make it clear in the end what needs to be done. Next chapter should be up in a day or so. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
you are one of my favorite authors but this is a bit too much for me. love you anyway!
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Sorry, dear. This story indeed starts awful before it gets better. Thanks for trying!
I can't wait to see how this plays out. I loved the Unkissed universe.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
This universe is darker and more brutal, just as a warning. It is also AU, with Dumbly still alive. I will post the next chapters every week on Friday, depending on the queue, they should be up a couple of days later. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
shocking, nightmarish, cruel, maybe even disgusting--but awesomely well written. Which one to pity more? I sincerely hope Remus gets a kind word and recognition in the end. I'm not sure more is possible, but if you and Severus at all manage...
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
I think it is a horrible situation for the both of them, and it won't get better in the next chapter. But in the end... well, I rarely try and make my readers cry, let's put it that way ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I am trilled to see you back with a new story, not to mention that you do Remus/Severus so well:-))
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Thank you, hon! I have been writing an original fic, thus my long silence in fandom. Next chapters will be posted every Friday. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
How awful for both of them. Is the curse worse because Snape is 'untouched'?:)
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Tsk, I cannot answer that, of course ;-) But the next chapters will be posted soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
How amazingly horrible.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
:-) Will get worse before it gets better. Hugs, and thanks for reviewing!
This was an interesting chapter. Poor Remus and Severus! The curse should be an Unforgivable since the way to break the curse is to do something just as evil and unforgivable. No wonder Bella used it on Severus. Hopefully Severus will understand and forgive Remus after the curse is lifted.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
True, it should be an Unforgivable; it is definitely nasty enough. And who says the curse can be lifted? ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I do hope that Remus will be the brave man in this and will talk to Sev about what happened. And hopefully, in the conversation, or argument more reallistically, one of them will let slip that they enjoyed it and would like to try again, aside from the curse of course.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
The next chapter will bring some news on who might talk to whom and whether or not it is possible at all to talk. It might be not. It might get worse before it gets better. This is not supposed to scare you away, of course. Just that this story - or the curse - doesn't have an easy way out ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
Don't worry I'm not easily scared.
If only he really knew why Lupin ran away in disgust.
Nasty curse, that. Hopefully he can fight the depressing effects.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Oh, he can fight them. He cannot fight the more serious side effects, though, and will find out about them in the next chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Both those men are idiots. But I feel sorry for both of them.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
They are, in a way. But they went through bad times, and talking about a horrible experience isn't easy even under the best of circumstances ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing, dear!
Poor Severus, he always has to endure so much. I hope that he can work through the effects that the curse has left behind. I can't wait until he finds out the Lupin was enjoying it as well and was repulsed by his reactions. Severus and Lupin would make a very powerful couple. I look forward to all of your updates for this story.
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Thank you, dear! I can promise regular updates, around one chapter a week, depending on the queue. A powerful couple... yes, I think I can agree on that ;-)
Those two need to sit down and talk! :)
Response from chivalric (Author of Untouched)
Let's say, that won't be possible after more side effects show in the next chapter ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
