I may be missing something here with these LOL! Fics, but trying to decipher the bad english and spelling I quickly loose interest in the potential humor of the story. I would appreciate a brief explnation if this is done on purpose and why. If you are practicing on your English tranlations, I applaud you and keep working on it, but maybe you should consider having them beta'd before posting. Good Luck.

Yes, as is mentioned at the very beginning, "This is done in LOL!speak style to be adapted as lol!fic."Basically, LOL!speak is a type of internet language that is purely juvenile, but is meant to be funny and comes with the best of intentions. There is this whole history that deals with cats, funny images and captions that if you are not familiar with, will probably not make sense. However, if you're one of many people who keeps up with aforementioned site and/or knows about this type of "communication", you will find this hilarious.As it is a very popular "thing" at the moment, I giggled when thinking about my otp talking like this, took a poll amongst my f-list, and was encouraged to write these strange little tales.My apologies if you do not understand the language and this frustrated you.
Another great one, m'dear. So are you going to do a lol!fic of all the cliched sshg tropes? That'd be awesome.

You know what's funny? I don't usually start out with a mind to play up the cliches. They just sort of happen. I'm sure I'll get thru all of them eventually.

Oh yay! It's actually quite liberating to almost have no rules and just completely play. They are nice breaks between serious writing; let off a bit of steam.
Was that exhausting to write? I felt like I was reading another language.

lol! Well, the very first one I wrote was a bit difficult, but sadly, this comes very easy to me. The two "epics" I've written nearly gave me a headache though. I'll eventually post those.

The sad thing is I've seen stories on ff.net that spell like that. I know of an school that is teaching phonetic spelling, as long as you get the first and last sound right, it will be considered spelled correctlly. So you have 6th graders who can't spell Utah
