"Ah, music. A magic beyond all we do here!" Hermione had long forgotten the fateful words Dumbledore had uttered at the end of her first Welcoming Feast when they proved true beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Dabbling in writing, in music, enjoying knitting on reasonably cool days. Petulant admin. Beta for some. Alpha for some. Cheese-maker for many. Locavore with a passion.
Reviews for Harmonic Resolution
Love those mushrooms and their strange tendency to pop up in conversations and thoughts here and there and everywhere.. Love - ah well, you know.. and the rest of the chapter, too. Hate to sound impatient but isn't it high time you posted the next one? *grins maliciously*
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*grins*Thank you!Next chapter will follow soon. :D
Another lyrical chapter. :) I like it very much and can't wait to see what happens next.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you! So glad you like it!
How is she learning to control them and make them play in tune? Will Mercury be a flute? :)
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
It's not about control :)Nope, not a flute. We'll find out in the last chapter what Mercury plays.
Woman cannot live by mushrooms alone. Can she have some cheese? Or a nicy juicy steak?
So, is Emery Down somewhere near Hermione's new home?So this is how water should taste! How many people will never know this? :)
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Ach, she isn't just living on mushrooms. There are onions, garlic, and parsley as well as butter, too. :PEmergy Down is on the edge of the New Forest. Since Malfoy Manor is in Wiltshire, the New Forest seemed the logical choice.True words on the water...Thank you for the review! :D
intriguing, i can hardly wait for the next chapter.your writing gets better and better
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you, my love. :D
Another lovely chapter. I really like the imagery here. I can see Hermione's new home perfectly and nearly tasted the fresh spring water. Good work
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you. I'm so glad I managed to get it across. :D
Synchronicities! I love those. Good start! I look forward to reading more. I especially want to learn about what happened when she heard the music. ~clicks forward~
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Yes, observing synchronicities can be rather fascinating. :DThank you for the lovely review!
I can so totally see Hermione taking a year off to research and pursue a hunch. Good for her! I loved reading about the mushrooms ... You made my mouth water! Can't wait to find out what the music means and how it will continue to play out through the rest of the story. This has such a lovely, lyrical feel to it. You've done a phenomenal job of setting the entire tone of the story with your style of writing. Just perfect!!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Writing about the mushrooms was so much fun, lol!Thank you for your kind words. They make my day! ::glomps::
Such an intriguing beginning! I love Hermione's ennui over her job prospects, and the interactions between Lucius and Narcissa were delightful. Looking forward to more!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you, my lovely! :D
this is a really interesting premise, but I feel like the entrances of the Music are really abrupt. It feels disruptive rather than mysterious. Maybe if you used more lead-up, a calmer, lengthier description of Hermione's environment, or thoughts, or just the immediate surrounding area. it was so abrupt at the end of this chapter that I at first thought you were talking about a fish--penny buns, chanterelles, and bass. it's in the same sentence as two other kinds of food she's gathering, do you mean bass the fish or bass the instrument? :) I like the direction you're going but i think you could use a little revision and expansion. the chapters feel to me like they ought to be longer. also, where are hermione's parents? she just trotted off at the end of the year without mentioning them!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
I have no idea what your goal was with this review. You can't seriously consider it constructive criticism, since your own grasp of writing in English shows your ignorance of the language rather blatantly.Essentially, you're saying here what you want to see written, and all I can suggest here is to write it yourself. Oh, and perhaps re-reading the books may not go amiss either; canon left us with Hermione's parents in Australia with no memory of their daughter. As to the mention of fish, did you actually read the chapter? There is absolutely no mention of fish anywhere. But thanks for your review.
Yes, my lovelies. Go and don't forget to come back asap. I'll be here as well. Can't wait to read the next chapter. Ain't that a surprise? NOT. :)
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Teehee! Your reviews totally make my day! :D

Thank you for your kind words!
I love stories of a spiritual nature. This one fits the bill nicely.Have you ever seen the movie "Matrix"? There is a child in the Oracle's front room. He is bending a spoon using only his mind. When Neo asks how he does it, the child replies, "There is no spoon!" That line reminds me of your Einstein quote from the beginning. And the Rosicrucian, Robert Fludd, is one of my ancestors! So I can really relate to this story so far!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you!Yes, I have seen the Matrix, and I absolutely agree with you; there may well be a connection between the two.Wow, what an interesting ancestor! He was certainly a fascinating person and very knowledgeable!
I look forward to further music.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
There'll be plenty.
".. or, should you turn Dark, until your incarceration in Azkaban." LOL, priceless. That might have got me hooked on the story if Cissy's presence hadn't done so already. *sighs resignedly* I'd actually like to read more...
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*grins widely*I was hoping you'd pick up this fic. There is loads of Cissy and Lucius interaction in this one. Just posted the next chapter and will continue until all twelve chapters are posted. :DThank you so much for your appreciation!

Love this chapter and how Narcissa is portrayed.
Love the way it emerges from canon and continues on.
