"Ah, music. A magic beyond all we do here!" Hermione had long forgotten the fateful words Dumbledore had uttered at the end of her first Welcoming Feast when they proved true beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Another good chapter. I really like how you've painted the Malfoys here. good work.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*beams*Thank you so much!
After losing it all, I can imagine most people would start learning to discover and appreciate what really matters. And it looks like that's where the Malfoys are at this point. Especially Narcissa. I think Lucius is slowly getting there, but I think seeing how beneficial the growing friendship with Hermione is for Narcissa could well spur Lucius' own realizations to grow a bit more quickly.Narcissa's friendship is definitely good for Hermione as well, but I wonder how long it will take Hermione to realize that if Professor Snape is alive, that the Malfoys might know something about it?What a uniquely engaging story you've given us, I'm enjoying it very much!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
You've said it brilliantly. *bows*We've reached half point in the story, and things will soon start to... escalate. *grins*Thank you for your wonderful review!
Sometimes people have to hit rock bottom before they appreciate the things in life that are truly important.I'm glad Narcissa enjoys Hermione's company. But as to Lucius' inner question of what would have happened had he not shown up in the graveyard, he would have eneded up dead, like Karkaroff, and that would most definitely NOT have made Narcissa happy. He had no choice.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you!Yes, I agree he would have ended up dead... but he doesn't like to think about that. :D
They seem to have a nice afternoon together. I'll bet there will be others to come. And maybe Severus will enter the conversation at some point. Unless the visit to the hag in the forest brings some interesting clues to the Malfoys. As ever it's brilliantly written and I will check my mail box frequently for future updates.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
I think they're on their way to becoming friends *nods*.Thank you for your kind words!
Wonderful update as usual, I really like this story!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
I like the relationship between Lucius and Narcissa. It is believable based upon canon. I'm not sure he would hold Hermione in any esteem. Never forget he was the one who planted the Diary on Ginny. I guess we can't have things be completely canon otherwise fan fiction would be very dull.I am looking forward to future updates!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
The story takes place about eight years after he had planted the diary, and he'd been eaten a lot of humble pie during those years (Azkaban, then imprisoned by Voldemort in his own home, then the final battle). I'd imagine someone like him can have a profound change in their outlook of life, but maybe I'm being overly optimistic; I don't know. And then, as you say, there is the matter of 100% canon in fanfic could be dull, LOL.Thank you for your encouraging words!
I am really enjoying this story. I can't wait for each chapter to post. And while I am reading, there is nothing I like better than sitting at the computer with my headphones on, listening to my collection of classical music. The way the music pours over and through you is EXACTLY how I am imagining Hermione to feel when she tunes in to the music of the spheres. Brilliant, Lady!!!Shell~
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*smiles*Thank you for your kind words. While writing it, I was mostly listening to Mozart's Requiem, as my Muse demanded. I'm glad you like it!
So Severus is calling to her. That cooking lesson with Narcissa will be most welcome and maybe bring interesting news.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Yup, you're spot on! :DThanks for the review!
I'm glqd to know more planets are joining in the concert.
And again who spiked the mushrooms? All those ladies seems addicted to it. Is there some beneficial effect I have missed?
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Mushrooms are generally healthy. Well, the ones Hermione finds; not talking about magic mushrooms here, lol. Thanks for reviewing!
I'm so glad the universe has chosen Hermione to be the receiver of the Music. Severus needs her help quickly now.
And what is it with those ladies living in a forest and mushrooms? Surely the scents of rain and pinewood must have gone their heads.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
LOL! Not sure those scents went to their heads or actually cleared their heads. :D
Yes, who could forget that voice?Such a beautiful way to heal, through the vibrations of Universal Spirit. I love this story.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it!
Girl definitely deserves a break and some company to take her mind off things for a while.Besides, can't think of a nicer opportunity to learn a thing or two about the art of mushroom cookery myself..*smirks back*So sorry to contradict Cissy, but how about before Thursday?
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*laughs*Your reviews make me happy! :D
What an utterly fascinating chapter yet again. I can't wait to see what happens next. I am completely hooked.xxx
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
I'm so glad you like it! Next chapter will be up soon.
Looks like she may heal him before the Malfoys realise she is the one to ask. :)
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Oh, I wonder what makes you think that. ;)Thanks for the review!
Ah, so "teh voice" has made it into the story now. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Oh, yes, teh voice! *giggles*
Woah! I love this story - I am a musician, and I like the idea of healing music. Keep up the good work!
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
I'm so glad you like it!I do have a feeling the story affects musicians on a different level than those who aren't musically inclined. Fascinating. :)
I know it sounds gushing but this story is captivating. I like the rhythm of your wording in the chapters. You have a flow going between the words and the actions of your characters. At times it's dreamlike while at others it seems rather prosaically "normal." Nicely done.I happened upon this story on another site and was excited to see it here. I'm looking forward to your next update.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Wow, thank you for your kind words! It's complete, so there will be regular updates. :D
It's so like her to want to study a subject many would consider useless. And I've a feeling that Hermione's home is not far from Emery Down's...
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you!Emery Down is in the New Forest in Southern England, and Hermione is in the Scottish Highlands, but distances really don't matter in the wizarding world. ;)
Ah, yet another lovely chapter. And so now they've met! Dun dun dun! :) I think I've learned more about mushrooms than ever before. I usually just buy a pack of the pretty whitish looking ones to cook with. Hahaha
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you!Mushrooming is an art in itself. I think nothing beats the feeling of finding them on a hike out in the woods and then bringing them home to create a most delicious meal. But that's me, LOL.
Ah, the mushrooms. I knew it.Trust Granger to run into 'some' blonde whenever the opportunity arises, accept a lunch invitation and get asked for cookery lessons and whatnot! Can't blame her, though, can I?Delicious chapter. I'm spellbound. And an agonizing wait ensues..
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
They just had to meet eventually, don't you think? *smirks*Thank you for your lovely review. You won't have to wait for long; the story is completed, and I upload pretty much every couple of days.
I am so happy about the last phrase. That is a burden I won't have to worry about anymore. *wink*
As for dear Sev', I'm sure Hermione's new healing skills will be most helpful.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*grins widely*Thank you!Oh, yes, her skills will come in handy...
I was desperate for the next chapter that I tried this website. Good job I did. Now to wait for the next update :)
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Wow! That's awesome that the story speaks to you so powerfully!Thank you very much, you made my day!
More planets have joined? I like the way Narcissa had chosen some edible but unpalatable mushrooms. Books don't tell you everything! :)
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
*nods* More planets. In the case of mushrooms, I think it would be quite foolish to rely on books entirely!Thank you for the review and the awesome stars! :D
Thank you for another great update, I really like your Narcissa. If anyone obviously have learnt from the past and doing their best to cope with it and make the best of it, Narcissa is doing so. I am very much looking forward to when the Malfoys finds that Hermoine is the one they have been looking for and asking her to do so for Severus.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
Thank you! We'll get there eventually... *grins*
I'm enjoying this very much.
Response from karelia (Author of Harmonic Resolution)
I'm glad you enjoy it! Thank you for reviewing!
