I am a 20-something-year-old who admits to not knowing or having everything figured out, beta, foodie, bibliophile, and dabble in art. Most days I may be found in the kitchen indulging in the culinary arts.
I adore a multitude of pairings in the fandom, though I am partial to: SS/HG, DM/HP, NT/HG, PP/MB, SS/HG/LM, Snupin, and LL/HG.

Thank you!
I am so happy to see the update, as the first chapte very well written and a joy to read. I am very much looking forward to read more of this story!!!!

You flatter me with such a lovely review!
No, you can't stop there! Who is it that came back for him?? I liked your version of the attack. No crying or begging for his life.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks, and I'm sorry for the evil cliffie! The way I see it, Severus knew what was coming, so it would not serve any purpose to beg someone who is incapable of compassion. As for who came back to save Severus, that will be revealed in the next couple of chapters.
Very interesting beginning! I have tons of speculation over who the other person to be saved is. I can't wait for the next part. :D
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks! The other character to be saved will be revealed in the coming chapters.
Very interesting start. I can see Albus has definately got some of his father's hero complex, as well as a tendency to bend the rules. I can't wait for the next chapter: who else is he going to save?!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks! Yes, young Albus is a lot like his father in the way that he does what's best, whether or not it gets him into trouble. The next few chapters will reveal the other person he's going to save.
Interesting start. I wonder who the other person will be. I can speculate several guesses, including Remus. Update soon!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you. You'll find out who Albus Severus will save in the upcoming chapters, but I will tell you now, it's not Remus.

Hmmms, now I really am curious. Can't wait to find out!
I'm intrigued - what an interesting idea! I can't wait to see what happens!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Why thank you!
Wow, he developed that potion at 16? He's a bright one! Good start! :)
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks! Yes, he's quite a brilliant young man with a lot of promise.
Is this it, it begs for so much more :)
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Nope, there's more to come.
Kewl I like this so far. Not usually a fan of the kids stories but this has an adult twist :)
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
I'm very pleased that you like this and that you chose to give my story a chance although you're not a next-gen char. fan.
Like this a lot so far! looking forward to the next chapter!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
I'm glad that you do!
Great start. This looks like it's going to be a fascinating and original tale. I think your hint makes it obvious who AS will be saving next. I just hope you show what care he's taking with all of this jumping forward and backward through time. These changes he's making will dramatically change the behavior and feelings of all affected - especially his parents. If he's not very careful, he could wind up delaying or even preventing his own existance. I can't wait to read the next chapter.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Aww, thank you. The AS I am writing knows what's at stake by going through time and changing things. You'll see what happens with the reactions when everyone finds out.
Nice start. Does he intend to try and save his father Harry? But ends up saving someone else. I ask to much. Look forward to seeing what happens.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you. In this, there's really no need for him to save his father... it's someone else he has in mind--someone who's livelihood is at stake.
Rather ingenious of the boy to create such a potion to save Severus' life. Only in canon was Severus even in the castle when he'd been summoned to go to Voldemort? Or did you change it to suit the story? Either way, a slip or intentional, your version looks to be a lot of fun. The potion idea is brilliant!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks! I'm not completely certain that Severus was in the castle when Voldemort called for him, but him being in the headmaster's office suits my purpose.
What a kick-ass start for what promises to be a great and fascinating story! Glad to see little (well, not so little here) Albus Severus coming into his own at last. Stealing Time-Turners from fellow students? I'd say he probably did wind up in Slytherin, but I can think of more than a few Gryffindors who broke rules and stole things! Now the question is: how does he know that this will work? Is Severus already saved in his own timeline, or is he just totally winging this and hoping for the best? He implies that Sev will love another, but again is this something he really knows or does he just intend to manipulate it into happening on his own?I hope your next chapter is up soon--I'm on pins and needles here!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you for such a nice review! Yes, Albus did indeed steal the Time-Turner to suit his own purposes--much like a Slytherin would do. As for your questions, all will be revealed in the chapters to come. I don't want to spoil the surprise. :)
This was brilliant. I love how Severus's namesake decided to change things for the better and told Dumbledore off for being an egotistical wanker. I do have a question though, does Albus Severus planning on keeping the name he has, or is he going to find a way to change it? I ask because it is pretty obvious that he does not hold any respect for Dumbledore, and to me it doesn't make sense for him to keep the name of a person he doesn't respect.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks! Albus Severus needed to call Dumbledore on his manipulative behaviour because it is obvious no one else is going to. I think Albus Severus is going to keep his name even though he has no respect for Dumbledore. He's keeping it out of respect for his father.
Interesting concept and well-written. I look forward to more. The only thing that I query is that Albus Potter has blue eyes. I thought he was the only one of Harry's children that had Lily's eyes- which in the books were green. I am wondering whether you have been influenced by the movies, as Dan's eyes are blue or there is another reason you decided to change them? (Apparently they tried contact lenses but his eyes were irritated by them)Great story though, as I never really forgave DD at the end - Manipulative git!Cheers,Reets
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
I changed Albus Severus's eye-colour to keep Severus from drawing the connection to Harry... at least not until much later.
Nice start. I usually wait until a second chapter is up to read, but this caught my attention. Glad it did.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you! I'm glad you made an exception for my story.
Very intriguing start! I like this Albus Severus; such a potions genius, designing a lifesaving potion while still a sixth year student. I look forwrd to seeing what his letter says. The next person he saves -- Fred Weasley? Thanks for the chapter!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks so much. As for who else he's going to save, you'll find out in the next few chapters.
Very interesting. I admit that I usually don't care much for the stories where the next generation play a major part, but I am very glad I gave this story a chance. I really liked it, I think it has great potential and I am very much looking forward to read more!!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you, and I am glad that you are giving my story a chance even though you don't much care for the next generation characters.
very interesting take on this challenge! I look forward to the rest. Thanks for sharing this original tale with us.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you so much! I was hoping to come up with something different.
WOW! This is definitely one of the most unique story beginnings I've read in quite a while, and I especially like that it's Albus Severus Potter who decides to put things to rights, with him being Severus' namesake. I can just imagine Severus' reaction when/if he learns the true identity of the young man who came to save him. I am so hooked! I look forward to seeing where the story goes from here.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thank you for such a glowing review! Severus will indeed be shocked to learn who saved his life -- more so since it's Harry's son who stood up to Dumbledore.
oooh this is good! i love it -- keep it up!
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
Thanks! There will be more to come.
The dreams - they were because of the potion Ablus Severus gave him, or the purging of the venom in his system? It's curte that AS is paying him a visit and still giving Severus 'directions.' AS's visit to Hermione was sweet. She trused him a bit to easily, but then, the bit with the Pensieve was good. Her reaction to her 'life' with Ron was heart warming. I hope all his plans work.
Response from luvsev (Author of Amending Time)
The dreams, I like to think, are from the venom exiting his system. In canon, we're told that the venom is nasty stuff, so I figure this could easily be one of the magical effects of Nagini's venom. Albus Severus had to go back to check on Severus to make sure his potion had worked and to give the final instruction - the way I look at it, it's just smart. Yes, I agree with your observation that Hermione trusted him too easily, but she was in a vulnerable moment, and he looks so much like Harry. I am quite sure that everything will go according to Albus Severus's plans.
