A companion piece to "She Never Stops Talking", a one-shot PWP I wrote that refuses to let me go.
After the war, Snape retreats to his dungeons and is prepared to live his life friendless and alone. Will Hermione let him?

Mother of three, working out of the house in the field of public relations. I have a very understanding husband and lots of quirks, which probably make me more irritiating than interesting. I used to write lots of fanfiction, but have fallen away from it the past little while, mostly due to personal issues (although some fandom issues surfaced as well). Snape/Hermione is still my 'ship of choice, and that won't change despite what Rowling presents in the last book.

Beautiful, just beautiful.
Excellent tale, and a good place to stop. Thanks!
I'm so glad Hermione and Severus worked everything out, and then some. This chapter was really really beautiful. I'm looking forward to the next one.
That was very intense for him, and a good read.
I love how you've written them both in this story. HG/SS is my primary 'ship, but I'm falling in love with the idea of their being together all over again from your story.
I have a big smile on my face :)
Go, Hermione! That is cute.
I had a feeling Severus wouldn't be able to function long without Hermione. He's definitely in love with her, and he's now realized it that he wants her with him. I can't wait to see the next chapter.
Nice to see that he finally came to his senses! Great chapter.
I'm glad you decided to continue this story. I just started reading it today, after I read the first one, and I really enjoy it. It definitely goes into more detail about Severus and Hermione's relationship than the one-shot did, and I'm looking forward to reading more.
This is lovely and compelling. Thank you for embarking on this story. I like that you aren't packing up Severus' insecurities simply because they've consumated the relationship. If anything, he's likely to become more insecure, for a time.
I love the way you write. You are wonderfully descriptive while still maintaining a concise, coherent storyline. You write emotions very well. I think you capture Snape's fear very believably as he mis-identifies it to himself. I think we all lie to ourselves, especially when we feel vulnerable. Your painting of his whirling vulnerability and desire to keep himself "safe" - even when safe equals dead for all intents and purposes - is very realistic to me. Thank you very much for sharing your talent.
I like this from his point of view.
I love how you're writing the slow progression of his changing mind. She's wearing him down with her love!
*grins slightly* Bet that he's gonna storm out of the room or something else undignified... or maybe not *shrugs* cant wait for updates!
Oh, I do hope you continue this story! It seems like such a good one!
I'm looking forward to reading more on this. I loved your original story and this is turning out to be a wonderful companion piece.
Thanks, "old" friend.
Um....It's November? Won't you please finish the story?
While you may have been unsure, I think the expanded version is nicely done. You fleshed out the story well enough to satisfy the reader. Thank you for sharing.
I love this story so much! I think snape is portrayed brilliantly & i love that hermione's warmth & persistance win him over in the end! Great work :)
I've just read the story in one go, after reading "She Never Stops Talking" yesterday, and I absolutley love it, it's really beautifully written and such a lovely story. Thankyou.
This story is absolutely beautiful, and I was very happy with the ending. I'm glad Severus finally found the courage to tell Hermione how he feels about her.
All those things he can't say. I'm glad she figured it out.
More....!!! Need more...!!!!
