You go Draco. Got to love it when Severus is put out of his own misery by someone who cares for him. I wonder how badly Hermione will want to hex one of them. And I wonder who Draco could be married to that would have the in on Gryffindor gossip. Hum?
I tought this MLC was almost comleted per the recs? But there is onlt two chapters :(. This is a very nice start, I love the bitterness.
This is interesting so far. I am looking forward to more. Live long and prosper, Titania
I can imagine that Hermione and Severus get drunk fairly often, especially after the things that they have to go through. If Dumbledore were alive, he'd be very dissapointed in Harry and Ron.
Poor Hermione. It's easy to make Harry and Ron into gits, they have the potential to do it so well. :-) I look forward to more of this. ~Ginny
another great chapter.
Poor Hermione. Ah, and she's so bitter. Ron and Harry = grrrrr... I'd like to swat them. teehee
Now we are getting to it. The final crushing blow to the ego of two people who gave up everything so the good guys could win.
Well now this certainly could be an interesting twist. I look forward to see what comes next. -- B
great beginning. waiting for more.
Well, you have me intrigued. Do go on...
I thought I'd leave a review to tell you, again, that I thoroughly enjoyed the cynical tone of this starting chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing Hermione and Snape's reactions. ~Cilla~
Oh, man! I love this. Sneaky!Draco... muahahaha. Yuck, Umbridge! I can't wait to see Hermione's reaction. lol
Interesting start for a MLC story. Looking forward to more soon please.
So funny! About fell off my chair when I read Umbridge's name!! And then that Draco had already sent in a petition for SS to HG.
Just started reading your story. I'm a total sucker for MLC stories of all flavors; rule breaking is another favorite of mine, so I had to read this. I found the first chapter to be very powerful in the message you wrote. Am looking forward to reading the other chapters you have up, and the rest of the story, as well.
Hope he acts fast.
Uh oh, Severus had better get a move on. That or start convincing himself of the advantages of being married to Umbridge. After all, she's well placed in the Ministry. She could probably get him the D.A.D.A. job back...
I don't get what everyone's problem is. And Ginny... how bitchy/stupid can you get? Too bad Hermione didn't slap her. I think it's been too long since I read the beginning. I'll have to go back.I was thinking Harry/Ron abandoned her b/c she defended Snape, but for the world to turn against her like this, it must have been something more. *wanders off to refresh mind*

Yeah, I wish she'd slapped Ginny, too. I hate it when characters don't behave and do what they're told. The passage you're looking for is in chapter two, after they leave the bar when it switches to Severus' POV. Specifically:Seeing Hermione so openly had been a mistake. He’d had no reason left for communicating with her; the war was over and the hearing finished. But a thank you drink in the Leaky Cauldron certainly seemed appropriate. Not to Weasley. Jealous and idiotic were two very dangerous combinations in someone so exalted by society.
I'm glad you started writing the story again!
Wonderful! Oh, the angst! Love your fresh take on an old idea. Hope Hermione and Severus can find some happiness once they get out of rehab! Also, hope Harry and Ron get what they deserve!
Great story! I really enjoy reading it so far and are looking forward to read more.
Short chapters, but excellent story. Kind of scary, that some of your story is possible if not currently happening. Looking forward to more of the story.
I like the letter format of this chapter. Very amusing so far. I seem to remember reading the opening chapters of this a while back, but then lost track. It's coming along nicely--an interesting twist on the marriage law. I'm glad that you updated--so, now on to the new chapter!
