“Foolish hairdo, secluded location, otherworldly manner.” - I think that's my phrase of the month - brilliant! *rofl*
The chapter is brilliant, too, I simply love it.
Author's Response: LOL! I wonder what else you can apply it to!?! I'm so glad you liked it; Thank you! xoxox

Hermione's way of living in the aftermath is rather unique and new, too. Who would have thought that of her? ;o) The magic "overload" thing intrigues me. I have always thought that it can't be possible simply to decide not to use magic any longer without any consequences. Your example is rather impressive.
Author's Response: Thank you! I have always wondered what happened to wizards who "go Muggle," and I'm glad this is working for you! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

Great start, an interesting new story with quite a new idea, too! Snape as fortune teller - who would have thought that? *laughs* But that's quite the perfect concealemnt, istn't it?
Author's Response: I know, it's such a funny premise. I was writing to a prompt for sshg exchange, and at first I thought, I can't write THAT! And then... I did. :) I'm glad it's working for you! Thank you very much for reading and reviewing! xoxo
Yes! Yes... go Up!!!lol... brilliant stuff!

*grins evilly*I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)xoxo
Wow - what a chapter - just a brilliant job with the reveal of the backstroy and done well as it seems perfectly natural they should be emotionally this close this soon - really great read and thank you for all of your hard work to get it there. Can't wait to see the next post.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Thank you very much! Revealing the backstory was difficult throughout this story, and I'm very glad to hear that it was working for you in this chapter. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! More quite soon...
I adore your writing style. Everything, from setting to dialogue, is so real. I can smell the hot dogs from here! What I like best about your writings are your human interactions. They are plausible, realistic, and in the case of our familiar canon cast, completely in character. I think I am pretty much sold on whatever you put out there. Thank you.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Kallonista, thank you so much. Realism is the thing I work hardest at when I'm writing, so you couldn't have made me happier. Thank you. I'm so glad you are enjoying this. xoxo
I love it! You make the characters seem so human. It's great that you're updating so quickly and I'm so happy to see something new from you because I love your writing. Thanks.

! I really appreciate that. I'm so glad you're enjoying it! xoxo
Wowzer! I can't wait to see what happens next! Would it really be so bad if she bought that peasant blouse and set up her own card table next to his? I'd love to see the look on Harry's face when he heard about that!
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
I know; I wanted that too. But I don't think HG would be satisfied with that for too long. But you're right, Harry's response would be priceless! Thanks for reading, and I hope you continue to enjoy it :) xoxox
Wow, that was a bit more forward than I expected from this Hermione, but I like it. Keeps him off balance.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Well, you've got to keep him off balance, that's for sure! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!
Now, where getting places!! Is it going to be hot and steamy? I hope so! Looking forward to it. This was a lovely chapter!
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
LOL. Yes, a bit. I hope you will enjoy it! xoxo
Okay, now you make me want to frequent hot dog joints and seaside carnivals... that was wonderful.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Thank you, Makaem. Honestly, I'm a Snapespotter--I see him everywhere, so I know just what you mean. LOL! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! xoxo
YAY! Finally another chapter! Severus and Hermione alone in a paradise... What a relief :)
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Well, don't know if it's a paradise, but they're certainly alone. LOL! I hope you will enjoy it. More quite soon! xoxo
Wowza! I like it! This fic is so entertaining. I dig the idea of the amusement park and the ferris wheel and Snape holding her hand. I love the idea of the magical illness as well. Looking forward to the next chapter so much!!As always- well done!

I should smack myself for starting ANOTHER WIP, but when I saw who wrote it, I had to start it. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Don't worry, Rachow! It's not really WIP. It's finished, and it's short, so you're not making a huge commitment (although with me, I understand why you'd think twice! This is where I prove to myself that I don't HAVE to write epics. :)) Thank you for reading! I'm glad you're enjoying it. xoxo
This second chapter kept all the promises that the first one had made! Great work! I'm looking forward to more...
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Oh, I'm glad to hear it. Thank you! More soon...
ooohh... brilliant! I hope she decides to stay close to him... to make her feel better, obviously, not because a little between-the-sheets actions would be good for both of them.. lol.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
LOL! Yes, most likely it would. We'll see...Thank you for reading and reviewing, Neelix!!
And with a shot, we're off - You have no idea how happy I was when I sat down and remembered that there was a story to look forward to. Slumber beckons - Cheers,CB
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Yay! Thanks, Christine. This is a short one, but I'm working on other stories now, and I hope to post more regularly. Unfortunately, RL hasn't been conducive lately. So, I hope you will enjoy this one while it lasts. xoxoxLariope
I'm really loving this story. Can't wait for more!
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Thank you so much! More to come quite soon...
Magical deficiency...interesting...so that's why she didn't fight him off. And she's quite right: one really must be on a first name basis with one's delusions; otherwise they might seem real. ;-) Their verbal banter, given the situation at hand, is quite believable and true to character. Kudos, and next chapter please!
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Thank you, Kallonista! I'm glad you enjoyed their banter. I love to get them into the same room--they always take over for me. And yes, that's exactly why she didn't fight him off. It makes me happy that that worked for you.Thank you so much for reviewing. More is around the corner!
she was totally flummoxed by her experience, goes on to continue her serach, and there he is. "His spidery hands resting on wood" And there we have our revellation. You found her a quick way to him.The scene was so stunning, made my knees weak. How do I greet a supposed dead person. I have to touch him. But do I touch Snape? brrr. And her long search her long mongloues, now she found now she can talk. And maybe she can accept the absolution. But this hunger for magic. Sort of Vitamin deficiency. Where do you get your ideas from, I wonder. How good, Severus was near. We don't want to see our gifted Gryffindor suffer or even die.Another woman. uh - oh. NO! my mother, you stupid girl. *gg*"I am afraid you will come into contact with the residue of my magic more than once while you are here.” Hey, we all hope there will be a lot of such contact!!!
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
I think it took the presence of magic to make her suffer, or at least suffer acutely. But yes, how lucky that our favorite Slytherin was about. ;)And I think it's reasonable to hope for more, erm, contact. LOL!Thank you so much for reading and for your lovely reviews, Salva. xoxoxLariope
A perfect intro!Snape under the southern sun, playing Sybil Trelawney. priceless. But when he does this legilimense, he simply does what a "muggle teller" would do too, try to see what is on their mind, try to see what they try to hide from themselfes. detect their self made problems, help to find answers for the next step to take. etc.But his payment is pretty outrageous. on the other hand, if he wants to feel like "still on vacation" he doesn't want to "go to work" every day, of course. And then Hermione. I could never have imagined her giving up. depressing. A young person who feels there is nothing left for her to do. bitter. Well, in that case I found it the best option for her to travel around a bit.Best option. And maybe find a way back to her parents. Then her parents. You describe their side, their feelings, especially the mother. maybe she feels cheated. can not trust her daughter. And the muggle world in itself. She is on her way, on her search to it, but shrinks back on the first real contact with it (severus' touch or spell). there is much to be done, much to be repaired. But I know from SL that you are unbeatable at repairing and healing. Therefore I love this fic already. And then their meeting, the first connection. He tells her what she desperately needs, but she can, most clearly, not take it, not accept it.What is to do. show himself?that would increase the shock.quick to the next chapter.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Salvamea, I love your reviews because you're so expressive. I feel like I've experienced the story through your eyes. I hope you will like this one. I've done my best to heal them. xxoxo
Response from salvamea (Reviewer)
hey, this makes my day! thank you! I'm only reflecting your chapter. so there is nothing special about my writing. it is all your good work!!lulabelle got me here. she mentioned that you had another story coming up. I mustn't forget thanking her.
That is an interesting take on the idea of magical withdrawal. I'm fascinated by this story.
Response from Lariope (Author of Dark Santiago)
Thank you, Blue Artemis! I hope you continue to enjoy it. Thanks for reviewing!
