I'm a twenty-something lurker of unbelievable proportions. Slytherin is my house; I don't have time for stupidity, ignorance, laziness or unimaginative people.
I enjoy all things Harry Potter, and though Hermione is my favourite character to read and write about, I refuse to read anything with Ron/Hermione as the main pairing. The thought of them together makes me weep.
That said, I hope you enjoy my stories. They won't bite. Much. Okay, maybe a little...

How sweet! Does he indeed blush? *smiles* Oh traitorous body! ;o)
Author's Response: He's too pale not to blush :D I like it when he blushes, makes for a fluffier Snape.
But will he let her help? This is great.
Oh no what a place to be left.
awesome
Nice that the relationship os progressing, I'm going to hate getting ot the end of the finished chapetrs.

delightful
These are very poinent and interesting
Things don't come easy for him, do they? Sad, now I think we all need hugs, lol.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
No, they never do. *hugs* It will get better though :)
OMG I too would do anything to help when he islike that. Fortunately it's a rare sight.

*is, even. I'm having a sleepy day :D
Too bad he can't do anything yet.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
I know, it's sad... But the pain will be worth it :)
Aw, my own eyes would tear as well seeing a patient try so hard.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Me too *sniff*
Aha, that wasn't what he was expecting! I wonder what he'll answer.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Thank you! :-)
I am really enjoying your characterizations of them. Severus snark, and Hermione's defiant attitude. Both mask much deeper feelings. Great job of making them multi-dimensional!
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Thank you! I tried to keep them close to canon, but Severus just wasn't having any of it in this story :D His anger and angst had to be replaced with snark and depression :D
ohhh!!! way to go - on the edge of my seat wondering where it will go - thanks for such a grand job of drabbling!
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Thank you! I've been staggered by the response I've had on PP, it's been such a joy reading everyone's thoughts. :D
"we could be lonely together, sir.”That way they'll not stay lonely for too long.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Yep :D The cure to loneliness is god ol' fashioned 'together-ness' :D
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Yep :D The cure to loneliness is good ol' fashioned 'together-ness' :D
There is a lovely sense of calm and stillness to this piece. Also it is entwined with sadness and a longing for closeness that they cannot seem to yet conciously acknowledge. You write wonderfully well and I am enjoying it immensely.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Thank you! Your words make me feel warm and fuzzy :D Glad you're enjoying this so far
Severus does have insight into Hermione's character, but does he have equal insight into his own? He thinks he cannot change his loneliness. I'll be curious to see how Hermione responds.
Response from FicklePen (Author of The Heart of Things)
Thank you :-) I think Severus learns a lot about himself over the course of this story, which is helped by Hermione.
I'm looking forward to Hermione's response to Severus' insights.
