Due to the often controversial nature of my fics, I've decided I will no longer be posting here (this not NOT include my WIPs--Princes in Exile and Caged Bird Sings will continue to be updated here. This is regarding only my oneshots and future long fics). You can find all my stories at my Livejournal, under the name literaryspell. None of the fics are, as yet, friendslocked, so you can read at your leisure, and friend me, or not, as you like. :D Be sure to check out my master list, which is the first post on my LJ page. Thank you!
If anyone would prefer to send comments to me personally, or would just like to talk plot or make suggestions, please contact me at literaryspell@live.com. I'm happy to hear from anyone!
Reviews for Back for Good
This is a lovely story! I'm sorry I didn't write reviews for each chapter, but I didn't want to stop reading! I really like the way you've portrayed Sirius; he seems very believable here! And I really like all the secondary characters, especially Snape.Nice plot twists and lovely lemons - a nicely balanced story!! Well done!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I particularily loved writing Snape. :D
Wonderful! I love it. I'm so glad they have a happy ending, with so much in their lives. You've changed me. I love HG/SB! Sad that the story is over, but happy in a way too. Great job.

Wow, what an amazing compliment! Thank you so much.
Awww! That's lovely! *searches for tissues*

Thank you so much!
Wow. That guy is completely off his rocker. I wonder what happened to his sister, and why he is so desperate to get her back? Why would he not find some way to make sure she is giving him the right information? Just shows how far gone he is.

More details in the new chap! Can't wait to see what you think.
He does know that in order to complete the bond he has to have intercourse with his sister right? Gross!I wonder how long she's been dead and how she died? He's much too frantic to do anything useful, he has to know that. But it would be interesting if Hermione told him to just drink the 'potion' and see if it kills him or knocks him out for the count so she can escape.Didn't Sirius know she was getting those owls from Jimothy? Why hasn't he thought of that yet? I guess he's so stressed out he isn't thinking straight.Another great chapter, can't wait for the next one!

More details in the new chapter. Can't wait to see what you think! As for Sirius not figuring it out, well, he's distraught. But he's not stupid. :)
Hm, rough day for Hermione! This guy's a loon - wonder when someone will think to check in with him?
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Yeah, Hermione's having a tough go of it, that's for sure! Thank you for reading.
Couldn't stop reading till the end! Brilliant!
I never -- ever -- read anything but ss/hg, and I don't know what made me click on this story from the home page, but I quite like it! It's a good *story* , no matter what the pairing. I suspect there may be a few more battles for our pair, and I'd really like to know precisely what the story is with the Bond, so I'll be sticking with you :)
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
I am so very glad you decided to give my fic a chance. I'm pretty sure about 90% of the readers for this fic are ss/hg fans (um... including myself!). It's so nice to hear when I can make someone a fan--especially since Sirius is pretty much a vilian in most Snape-centric fics. Anyway, thank you so much for sticking around!
No surprise with a user name like mine, that Sirius is my favourite character and I love the Sirius you have created in this story. It's nice to see him and Harry get some time together now he's patched things up with Hermione (stupid idiot flipping out on her in the first place! But then, Sirius never was all that rational - even before Azkaban and the Veil.)But why do I get the feeling that something bad is going to happen? Like Sirius is going to get home and something will have happened to Hermione... I really, really hope I'm wrong! Guess I'll just have to wait and see! xXx
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
It's so nice to see that my Sirius appeals to a true fan. Most of the readers of this fic are ss/hg shippers who are just giving it a chance, and well I love that, I'm glad that it also works for Sirius fans. Yeah, Sirius tends to fly off the handle a bit. He definitely needs to get out more, but he's a little tentative to be in public. You get the feeling something bad is going to happen because nothing can stay gold forever, right? There's a little bit more calm before the storm, but it's brewing!
Hmmmm. Seems like Sirius is finally growing up. Both in his attitude towards Harry and his relationship with Hermione. I can only wonder what other curveballs they are going to get wit this bond.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Yes, he's definitely showing that he understands how to properly go after what he wants. Curveballs? Moi? :)
keep up the good work! Here and Always too!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Thank you so much!
Great chapter. Just when I think things are starting to wind down, they get even more interesting.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Thank you! Yes, things are far from calming down for our poor couple, as you'll see in the new chapter!
That's a bit of a rough start, but definitely not one of the worst. It seems that Sirius has no idea how insecure Hermione is feeling. Can't wait to see the next chapter!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Thank you so much! Yes, their major problem is, and has always been (within the context of this story) communication.
LOL I guess it really was good that Sev didn't bring Siri back! I have a feeling one or both of them would have taken a running leap thru the veil if they were told they had to get in touching range of each other!
Great chapter!
Missy
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Yeah, that would have been an entirely different story! Not necessarily a bad one though... probably more violent. LOLThank you!
*He broke the kiss to whisper against her lips, The things I will do to you, Hermione, you have no idea. She whimpered and he took her lips again*
*whimpers*
Had I been in her place there would be no holding back!
Great job!
Missy
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Haha you and me both, darling! Thanks so much for reviewing.
Good story so far! I'm really interested to see what will happen next. Being forced to stay near another person sounds like a drag, even if that person is sexy Sirius. I hope they can figure out how to solve this problem!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
I dunno, I could probably handle being bound to Sirius... well, maybe not to the same extent! Anyway, glad you're enjoying it, and I hope you like the new chapter!
Great chapter! LOL I can think of a lot worse fates that being hooked on Sirius!
Missy
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Thank you so much! Yes, that's a fate I could certainly resign myself to! LOL
Yikes! I hope Sirius is going to be ok!! Particularly after Hermione made such a sacrifice. One thing for Sure, Severus will not be glad to hear that Sirius is back!
Missy
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Is Severus ever glad to hear anything? Ah, but that's why we love him! Thanks for the review!
Well, I fell down on my plans of reviewing every chapter, but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy them. This was an unusual premise for a story, and it worked really well. Very enjoyable story.
Lovely! I didn't read this when it went up initially- I will admit, I generally skip over anything that mentions 'souls.' The cheese factor is generally too high. But you circumnavigated the Great Cheese and instead wrote a good story with believable characters and an exciting plot, complete with happy ending. Excellent! Though I have one... question? Comment? Is it just me, or does Severus harbor a crush on Hermione? It certainly seemed that he was fonder of her than he wished to admit in the earlier chapters. Perhaps once she was married he could move on a bit? Who knows. Either way, I loved the story. Happy writing!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
LOL Oh, god, this fic makes me smile. It was my fic chaptered story, only like my fourth fanfic. It is... truly... something. I mean, the later chapters are fine, but the first few are just... grammatically uncomfortable, to say the least. All I wanted with this one was to explore Sirius' return. The veil was just so bloody unexplained in canon! I HATED that.It wasn't just you about Snape having the hots for Hermione. I felt bad about putting that in there because ORIGINALLY (best laid plans, right?) there was supposed to be a little cheating going on (due to Hermione's needs because of the bond). Then I totally switched gears and just had it unrequited (that was the Snape/Hermione shipper in me).I'm glad the souls stuff didn't entirely turn you off. *hugs*
Response from liviconnor (Reviewer)
You know, I was hesitant to criticize your grammar, since you made mistakes that many (SO many!) fanficcers make, but I'm glad you noticed them and have (hopefully) improved. The most I personally try for is to make new mistakes.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
I like to think I've improved, but then, when I started, I thought I was pretty good, too, being an English major and everything. LOL I make new mistakes all the time. The problem with being validated everywhere is that I'm not corrected as often anymore. :D
I loved the way you wove in so many different side-stories to the main plotline -- and tied them up so nicely in such a happy ending!
It was wonderful to read such a well-written Sirius/Hermione story--they've been hard to find. ;)
Much appreciated!
