Due to the often controversial nature of my fics, I've decided I will no longer be posting here (this not NOT include my WIPs--Princes in Exile and Caged Bird Sings will continue to be updated here. This is regarding only my oneshots and future long fics). You can find all my stories at my Livejournal, under the name literaryspell. None of the fics are, as yet, friendslocked, so you can read at your leisure, and friend me, or not, as you like. :D Be sure to check out my master list, which is the first post on my LJ page. Thank you!
If anyone would prefer to send comments to me personally, or would just like to talk plot or make suggestions, please contact me at literaryspell@live.com. I'm happy to hear from anyone!
Reviews for Back for Good
Wow. She certainly has a deep conviction that Sirius deserves to come back from the veil for her to sacrifice so much.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
It's certainly become nearly an obsession for her. A lot of the reason she feels so convicted is because of Harry, as well.
Not too much of a sacrifice, I think, having such a sexy wizard "do the job". The only problem is, of course, that the bond is obscuring their true feelings.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Yeah, she's really taking one for the team, eh? LOL And you're right--that *is* the problem.
Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no, no. 0_0 I'm.... utterly speechless. Sirius, nuuuuuu, you're making a mistake! >.< Evil cliffie. Meow. Thank you for the chapter while I try and rearrange my jaw.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
LOL What an awesome response! I'm glad I can evoke that sort of reaction. Enjoy the new chapter!
Whoa! That was unexpected. Everything was going so well and then it just falls apart. How horrible. Is he just saying that because he wants another woman or does he not feel like fighting for her? And now she has no one on her side while she's going through her problem from using Dark Magic. Wow. I can't wait for an update. Poor dear.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Such is the nature of fanfiction, no? LOLI hope you enjoy the update! Sorry about the angst. :)
liked sirius' thoughts in the end. wonder if he'll go interrogate snape. liked hermione's little tantrm.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Thank you! Interrogate Snape? Maybe... he does seem to like to antagonize people!
I am really liking this story and normally I am a SS/HG fan, but a break is always good and this story is perfect, and very very interesting . I love your Idea and just spent the past 2 hours reading the whole thing...Keep up the good work and I look foward to the next chapter...but don't make us wait to long.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
I think like 75% of the readers of this story are SS/HG shippers (myself incuded! eek!). So thank you for giving it a shot! I know it is so different than a Snape fic because Sirius is such a laidback, unstressed, open guy. But he definitely comes with his own set of baggage!I usually update about every week. It would be more if I didn't write so many oneshots!Thank you for reviewing!
I can't believe you left the story there. I have a horrible feeling that Sirius isn't doing well since he passed out right after Hermione left. And you made such a point showing that Hermione was worried, like she knew he was in immediate danger. I just think that he's not going to be conscious when she needs to giver her "sacrifice." That would be interesting, but I guess the point I'm getting at is that I don't think it's going to be a great first time for her. Poor dear. I really hope you update soon. I'm a HG/SS fan but I just love this story. You might convert me!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
I really wouldn't worry too much. I'm not the type of writer than would make her character's first time utterly horrid. I've seen that done a LOT in bond fics and I don't really like it.So many fans of this fic are SS/HG shippers! Me, too! My next chaptered fic will be a SS/HG and I'm so excited. Hopefully you'll check it out, though it won't be up for a while--I'm writing it for the SS Big Bang. Anyway, thanks for the review, and I really hope you enjoy the next chapter!
awwww i just love snape. i really want him to pursue hermione in this fic.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Everyone does! I honestly think I wrote him too sympathetically. I also think most fans of my story are primarily SS/HG fans, so right out of the gate, they root for Snape! LOLSorry to say there will be nothing betwee them.
oh good, i was wondering how could he not noticethe scarring.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
His eyes were elsewhere... :)
“Well,” Hermione felt her anger grow, and wanted to lash out unthinkingly. “If you think it’s a bad idea, it must be the right thing to do!” ^___________^ awww poor snape-more of his feelingsare out, i wonder if they'll get a chance to develop- it woulddefinately lead to a more complicated and interesting story.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
LOL I have to say I think the story is complicated enough. My next chaptered het fic will be a SS/HG, so watch out for that! It won't start until this is completed, however.
I hope that they can figure out how to get rid of the bond, it looks really bad for our duo. This fic deserves more reviews, although rarepairs tend to get fewer, even when they are as good as this one. Keep up the good work; I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
There are definitely not enough Hermione/Sirius shippers out there--nor are there enough fics! I try to fill the void. :)Thanks so much for the review!
Things are looking scary! Great chapter!

Thank you!
What did he wish??? I swear, Snape can say so much by not saying anything at all. :-)What a tangled web she's managed to create for herself. I suppose it's little consolation at this point to know she's done the right thing. On one hand, it's easy to say Sirius is hot and being relegated to a life of mind-blowing sex with him is hardly a hardship. Then again, even things that are really enjoyable can lose their appeal if they become a requirement ... then they just become work. Bleh. I hope she can find a solution.I look forward to the next chapter!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Yes, you are totally catching all the little nuances of the story. Even if she loved him before the bond, how long could she really stay with him, knowing he was essentially forced to be with her? It would be heartbreaking. Add her other insecurities to the mix, and well, you've got angst. :)
The line, "Sirius demonstrated his incalculable knowledge of the English language by..." made me bust out laughing!!I like the way their lack of fulfillment has manifested in both of them feeling angry and jumping to the wrong conclusions. For two people whose souls are bound, they certainly do a poor job of understanding the other's intentions. I suppose that's appropriate, though, given the fact their souls are so different. And now they get to share the each other's internal struggles. What fun! :-)
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Ah, sarcasm. My story would be *made* of the stuff if I didn't try to rein it in. LOLYes- communication! They just don't have that. So much stands between them that we have to wonder if they'll ever get it together... well, you have to wonder. I already know. ;)
Ah, so close. And then the brain starts working and tries to inject reason into the situation. Dang. :-)I suppose drowning her troubles in a bottle is one way of dealing with things ... She's obviously at her wit's end. I wonder how much longer they can live like this?
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Silly brains, always getting in the way of smut! LOLHow much longer, indeed?
Wow, that was an intense chapter! I really enjoyed his first words - LOL! It's great to see him alive and well again. And the UST between them is hot, although I can see how it would scare and confuse Hermione, especially since it goes beyond mere want and deep into need. Things are really starting to heat up!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
First words were fun to think up! Thanks. :)I like the delineation you made between want and need--a very important part of my fic, right there along with choice/free will.
That's one heck of a connection she's created! I imagine this is going to bite her in the end ... She doesn't strike me as the kind of person who's comfortable with relinquishing control and having so much of herself reliant on someone else. This should make things interesting ...
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Funny you should say that--most people assume it will be Sirius with the problem with the bond, but I think Hermione will be just as horrified by the real extents of the bond.
Aha, so she's beginning to see some of the effects of the spell and potion, I'm guessing. She's established quite a connection to him it seems. That could prove rather dire, I'd imagine. Nevertheless, I'm so excited about his return, I'll pretend to ignore the implications for now. :-)I just hope he recovers enough to be the walking, talking, confident Sirius that hold so much appeal. Another great chapter!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Thank you! Well, at this point you know that walking, talking sex on a stick is back, and hopefully to your satisfaction!
Ah, what an excellent cliffhanger! I'm ever so pleased there's several more chapters for me to read ... I'd be quite bereft if I had to wait for an update after this! Another great chapter ... Excellent (scary) descriptives on the potion and its effects. The girl's determination knows no bounds, eh? I enjoyed Snape hanging around, watching over her even if he was using the opportunity to chastise her. And Harry's simultaneous anger and concern was very believable.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. The potion is very scary, and even now, she knows so little about it. I'm glad you thought Harry was believable. I have a hard time writing him.
She's a very determined little witch, isn't she? I liked her relationship with Snape - they both seem very much in character. Good chapter!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
She certainly is!I love writing Snape. And I swear, half the comments I get on this story are asking for a threesome or for Hermione to get with Snape. It's possible that I made him a little too sympathetic! LOL
Excellent beginning! I can completely see Hermione not being able to let Sirius's "death" rest. This cause seems like something she'd champion - far better than house-elf rights, too. Kudos on the creepy factor in the dream and the unique aspect of the book.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Hermione is always obsessing about one thing or the other. With so little known about the Veil, I really think JK set up the fanfiction world for speculation! Glad you enjoyed the creepiness.
A-ha! So a certain potions master fancies her, too? Now let's see how they will manage all of this mess...
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Maaaaaybe... I'll never tell! Thanks for reviewing!
Heck if I was 'Mione I wouldnt complain about having to romp with Siri! Silly girl doesnt know when she has it good!!!!
Lovin this fic!
Missy
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
Nor would I, but that wouldn't make for a very exciting drama, would it? LOLThank you so much for your reviews. It's so good to know someone is reading regularily! :)
" Touch me" mmmmmm....Siri wouldn't have to ask me twice that is for sure! The man is hot!Another great chapter!I noticed this fic is also on AFF.net. Is it complete on there? LOL I guess I lack patience!Missy
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Back for Good)
It's not complete there, but it is a few chapters ahead. TPP is a great archive, but it does take forever to be validated here. I hope to catch up at some point, but it's slow. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the chapter! I wouldn't turn down an offer from Sirius either! Yum!
