Old Severus annoys me a little. I can see his point, but I sort of want to kick him in the ass. He knows what he did in the past, and he's not really trying to make things better, only bitching at his younger self. Hehe, I do like some of the snippy things his younger self says to him or thinks. I totally understand Hermione's anger.

I love the arguing between the two. I think nothing good will get done until they work together. "Old Snape" should know that. Hahaha. Poor Hermione.

Somehow, it seems to me that fate has a hand in events.  Because even though Severus has tried to avoid this scenario it is still happening in a different way.  I had been wondering how Hermione would still end up with him if he intervened in events that were supposed to happen.  Excellent!

let's see. she is his younge self's age. so when this all happens his younger self has to wait a little less than 10 years to meet his Hermione at Hogwarts school (again).And what does this forestaste tell him. that she is not easy to fool and can stand her woman aginst him. in all this mess she will be the best help they could ever get.how does this continue!!??

I ADORE the last line! The endearment is fantastic. It gives credence to the change that happened to Severus. You contrast the two men in a way that brings out all personal development, consequences and motivations in one package. I like it. A lot.

After all that tense arguing, I enjoyed Hermione's summons to young Snape.  It's obvious why older Snape doesn't want him involved.  I love that you're examining this Severus.  We don't really see him too much, just hear about him.  I think we're all in for a rude awakening.Hopefully, Hermione can forgive her Severus for what he's done.  Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.I thought it was funny that Snape refers to his older self as an old fart, among other things.  Too hilarious.
