Lucius stood in his study with no memory of the last five years of his life. In his hand was his one clue, a scrap of parchment with a name scratched on it. Hermione Granger.

I've been a fan of JK Rowling for a long time, but only turned to fanfiction after DH - read it in one day, cried for three, turned to the internet the day after for more. I favor Severus/ Hermione pairings, especially those with lots of chapters and lovely smut scenes - sex by association, pathetic, isn't it?? I've posted a beta profile, if you'd like to check it out.
In real life I am a single mom living in a small town. Rewarding and boring and the same time. Lucky me ;)
Reviews for No Looking Back
This is lovely. Everyone is SO in character! I love how they dealt with Narcissa. Sneaky wench! I wish he had told Severus that the memory was behind him rather than just ignoring it though. The way Lucius handled it it wouldn't be clear to Severus and he may always wonder if it will be brought up later. Still EXCELLENt and very hot. I loved it. Clare

Hi Clare :)I mulled over what that conversation might be like, then realized it would be more in keeping with Lucius' character to not reveal to Severus that bit of information. It would be something to hang over Severus' head, and that is a Slytherin tactic!Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! You brightened my day :)Dari
Wow! What a great story. I loved all the mystery, intrigue and romance and it was all carried off so perfectly. I was looking for a good Lucius fic and uploaded this to my Kindle and couldn't put it down (hence no reviews for individual chapters). There was a part of me that was waiting for Hermione to have had a hand in the Obliviate in an attempt to finally have Lucius. Excellent job.

Wow - thank you!! I'm so glad you found it and enjoyed it so much.

Oh wow, kinky lemons! Lucius is up to something - there is no way he'd let that wizard jsut go like that.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Kinky lemons, LOL. Is there anything better? I don't think anyone expects vanilla from Lucius :DDraco took care of Strommond ;) Lucius just told that to Harry and Ron so they wouldn't go snooping around. But of course, Harry knows.
Very nice chapter! Draco doesn't miss a beat, does he? Anyway, fantastic job (as always) and keep up the good work. ~Jen
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Thank you! Draco has his dad's back, that's for sure!As always, thanks for reading and leaving a review :)Dari
I am pleased to see that this story has more to offer, depth-wise, than pure lemons.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Pure lemons, lol. I suppose less would have been more, but the idea of them just glutting themselves on each other, after all they've been through, was too much of a temptation for me. I've never envisioned Lucius as a romantic kind of man; to me, he is such an alpha male, knowing what he wants and taking it. To Lucius, all sex is good sex; and Hermione, god bless her liberated self, has always known what kind of man he was. She must have fantasized about what kind of lover he would be. I don't think she was expecting sweet and gentle, nor would Lucius exect that from her. They really are compatible!Okay, now that I've gone off like that, LOL. Thank you for seeing beyond that aspect of their relationship. I am so happy that this story has the depth my readers deserve :)And thank you for taking the time to read and leave a review!Dari
phew! I was afraid Draco really had let the git get away. glad that's taken care of. now for this Warland mess. will Cissa be a part of the Warland schemes too? thaniks for the new chapter!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
No way was Draco going to let some git get away with hurting his Dad. Isn't it nice to know that the son is willing to take care of dear old Dad? Narcissa and Hespion Warland... we shall see, we shall see! Thanks for reading and reviewing!Dari
Slyterins never fail to amaze. But things like this happen all the time, don't they? I am glad that you have Lucius recognize that he'd have done the same thing. Wow.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes! Exactly! Things like this DO happen all the time. Hurt feelings, needing comfort, wanting someone to make you feel better. They find comfort in each other, even as they realize to whom her heart belongs.Slytherin men are alike, lol. Thanks so much for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate it :)
An interesting turn of events -- is this why Lucius got obliviated? Were they together before he was obliviated?
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
No, Lucius got Obliviated by that thug Michael Flannery hired. This chapter is the second half of chapter 9, actually. I posted it early because some people were upset where the last chapter stopped!More developments are on the way :)
Great chapter!! I can't help but think that Lucius is not going to like what he sees in Severus' Pensieve. Hopefully he won't get too mad. Can't wait for more! Update again soon! ~Jen
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Oh, that darn memory! LOL If Lucius wants Hermione in his life, he is going to have to get past whatever it is he sees, and I think perhaps he has already made up his mind to do that, don't you think? Perhaps he'll change his mind about viewing the memory and will take Severus' advice, leaving the past behind and moving forward. Or maybe not.As always Jen, thanks so much for reading and leaving a review!Dari
Now this chapter was much too short, my dear.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
*hanging head in shame*I know! The next one is short, too, but there will be another chapter right after it, to make up for it :)It seems like my muse only wants to share so much at a time. I should have waited and combined the chapters, but it would have been longer between updates, and I don't like doing that. So! I've more chapters written, and two more outlined.I hope that helps!
forgive her?? Lucius is the one who booted her! (kicks Lucius....) thanks for the new chapter!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Oh, but Lucius is a Slytherin, don't forget!! Which means, of course, that while he may be able to see all possible scenarios and ramifications and choose his course of action based on the best outcome, his world still revolves around him; and he does not always take into account what others are feeling. He feels betrayed, yet he wants to know what he is up against so he can get what he wants. He wants Hermione, and he will do what he has to, to get her. And what he will need to forgive is up next!
Response from June W (Reviewer)
he needs to devote more time to figuring out how to get a divorce from Cissa! grrrr....
you stop here? before we see the pensieve? nasty indeed!Gobby's antics and his demands are great, snigger!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
I know, I'm sorry *sigh*My muse tells me when to stop, and I just can't seem to get more out after that. I suppose I could wait until I have completed the story and then put it all together, but that would take a while. Honest, it's not on purpose!!!I love Gobbert, I really do! He's as pompous and stuffy as you could imagine, but he loves Lucius and would do anything for him, despite his house-elf circumstances. Thanks for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate both :)
So that's how yu=ou get a house-elf! I think I'd like Gobbert. Intrigued by this bit about Hermine and Severus....
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL, I love Gobbert, he is a stuffy and pompous a house-elf as you can get, yet he loves Severus and would do anything for him out of love, not because of his nature.Intrigued about Hermione and Severus? You have no idea... :)As always, thank you for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate both :D
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
Gobbert loves Severus? Isn't he Lucius' house-elf? Or he's like Dobby, would do anything for Severus even though he is Lucius' elf?
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Gobbert loves LUCIUS, I love Severus, lol I'm blurry eyed and should go to bed now! Thanks for catching that, wouldn't want to confuse anyone, lol.
I know it's a bad situation, but in this case being stuck between Severus and Lucius sounds like a wonderful problem to have. LOL I can't wait to see the pensieve. *shivers*
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Oh my God, you have no idea!!! LOLEverything I want to say will give away the next chapter, LOL, so I won't say anything except thanks for reading and taking the time to leave a review, I really appreciate it!Dari
Okay, I see the meaning behind your nickname now...
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
ROTF!!!!!Truly, I'm not! (Although there is a funny story... :)Thanks so much for reading and leaving a review! More to come, I PROMISE!!!Dari
Wow!! This story just keeps getting better and better!! I love the mystery and interactions within each chapter. Keep up the excellent work! ~Jen

You are a wicked thing, aren't you, keeping us in suspense over what, exactly, is going on between Lucius and Hermione! This has been really fun to read and I am looking forward to more when it's available. Thanks!

Wow what an exciting beginning. I'm so full of too many questions that I can't bother you with. I'll just have to wait and see. Please don't make me wait too long.
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
Alright Sorry. I save this on my pc a while ago and didn't see there is already a few chapters for me to read. Hourray.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL, that's alright! I liked hearing your initial response!I hope you are liking it, and I really appreciate you taking the time to read and leave a review. It means a lot!
Oh, I feel cheated - what has happened over the five years? You didn't fill us in! I enjoyed the dream lemons, thank you.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL! Correction, I didn't fill you in..... yet! While I can't relate everything (good Lord, I'd get tired of typing, lol) I'll hit the high points :DI'm so glad you enjoyed the lemon :)I appreciate you taking the time to read and review, it means a lot!Dari
Wonderful chapter! I love the emotions you have running through Lucius's head. Great job! I can't wait to read the next chapter! Update again soon.~Jen
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Thank you!I update as fast as the queue will let me, lol.Lovely lemons ahead!I appreciate you taking the time to read and review, it means a lot!Dari
I can't exactly figure out what is goin gon. I almost feel like Lucius, trying to piece things together as well. good job.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Thank you! More answers and lovely lemons are on the way. Thanks for taking the time to read and review!Dari
Severus might be his best bet--a potion or possibly the services of the best Occlumens he can think of. I really like the control you have Lucius show--not revealing his "handicap" to anyone and trying to fake his way through from context. Unfortunately, 5 years especially post war is a LOT of context to fake through.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL, Lucius was hiding out for the weekend. No one expected him home, anyway. Slowly, but surely, he'll learn what he needs to know. The important things, at least. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, I appreciate it!
Ah, so his subconscious remembers something... thanks for this chapter!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
I don't know if it's his subconscious or something deeper, a deep-seated recognition, perhaps. More answers (and lovely lemons) are on the way!As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to read and review. I really appreciate it!
This is interesting and I want to kick you for the cliffies you leave but such is life.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL! Honest, that is just where my brain shuts off!Lately, I have been forcing myself to move past the ending, and add more. Chapter 5 was actually two chapters that I combined into one. There are lovely lemons, as well :)I hope it is more satisfying ;)Thank you for taking the time to read and review, I really appreciate it!
Oh my, I love your stor. But as I come to the end of each chapter, I find myself cursing you for not writing more. (In my world, this is a complement) LOL No, I want you to stay healthy, happy, and updating regularly. This is not particularly my favourite pairing but you've done an amazing job of it!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
First, thank you so much for taking the time to give my story a try! It is not so easy trying new and different pairings, and to be honest, this is a stretch for me, as well. Until now, Hermione + Severus = Happiness ;)And honest to God, my brain just shuts off when I get to a certain point! Although, I have been forcing myself to work through and add more.Chapter 5 is actually two chapters combined into one. With a lovely lemon, as well ;)Thank you so very much for taking the time to review, as well. I really appreciate it!
