Lucius stood in his study with no memory of the last five years of his life. In his hand was his one clue, a scrap of parchment with a name scratched on it. Hermione Granger.

I've been a fan of JK Rowling for a long time, but only turned to fanfiction after DH - read it in one day, cried for three, turned to the internet the day after for more. I favor Severus/ Hermione pairings, especially those with lots of chapters and lovely smut scenes - sex by association, pathetic, isn't it?? I've posted a beta profile, if you'd like to check it out.
In real life I am a single mom living in a small town. Rewarding and boring and the same time. Lucky me ;)
Reviews for No Looking Back
Erm, right. So the situation was not of Hermione's crafting. Um, I knew that. Right.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
No, but aren't you glad it wasn't Hermione? :DAnd again, thanks! Dari
Hmm. Why do I have the feeling that Hermione somehow engineered the situation of Lucius losing his memory?
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL, that would have been funny! But, eh, no. Sorry :) She's not a Slytherin! Thanks!Dari
Ah, it's always lovely to see a happy Severus. I hope we find out how he made the transformation from greasy bastard to seemingly happy, well-adjusted adult.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes, a happy Severus is the best Severus! His transformation is caused by him forgiving himself, I would suppose. Grief and guilt do terrible things to people, and he's managed to walk away from it. Thanks for reading and reviewing!Dari
Oh, thank god Snape survived. Even better that it happened through Lucius's intervention.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
I will never, ever, ever let Severus die. No! No! No!He and Lucius are like brothers, they've each other's backs! Thanks!Dari
I really like the sense of isolation that the first person point of view is creating in this piece. I'm eager for Lucius to figure everything out. His head's an uncomfortable place to be. :)
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
His head is an uncomfortable place to be. That is so awesome! Yes, he is isolated, and not knowing what happened or where he can turn makes it that much worse. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
Ooooh. I'm quite intrigued by this. Though, I suspect Lucius is more intrigued than I am.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Hi!Lucius is more than intrigued, he's freaked! He is one cool cucumber, though, isn't he?Thanks for reading and reviewing!Dari
yay! glad they didn't blame Severus for anything. glad they're spending the night together, but no morning snuggle time for them, with this Warland stuff that frightens Hermione. are they going to marry soon? you write the nicest romantic thoughts for Lucius! thanks for updating.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Nope, not my dear Severus' fault. The poor man, he's been through enough! No, no morning snuggle, but they did have quite a morning !!Hespion Warland and the Warland Council is coming up next. Marry??????? He just got divorced!!!! I've a secret, though!! hee heeAs always, thanks so much for reading and reviewing!Dari
OH! Lemons - Lots of Lemons! Naughty ones too. So, who is Hespion Warland, and what is the Warland Council? Hmmm? another mystery.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Hmm.. yes, I did promise lemons for this chapter, and what better way to offer them than with a bit of naughtiness!Hespion Warland = The final mystery... :)
Wonderful chapter! I can't wait to see what happens next. I wonder what the Warland Council is. I hope it's nothing too serious. Keep up the good work! ~Jen
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Thanks Jen, hoped you liked the lemons ;)I hope it's not too serious. Warland Council = And that's all I'm going to say.
Hats off to you! I don't think I've ever read such an enthrallingly lemony scene that ended in absolute sincerity and sweetness. =]
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Thank you so much! I love Lucius, and he and Hermione deserved this time together, free of pretentions and personas. As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to read and leave a review. It means so much to me :)
Poor guy, he's so confused.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
He is confused, isn't he? His life has been turned upsidedown, and he doesn't have a lot of answers yet. He is going to get some help, though :)Thanks!
I like the new and improved mature Draco. The visit between father and son went well.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes, I like the more mature Draco, as well. Lucius is going to discover how much has changed :)Thanks so much for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate both!Dari
Hmm, interesting concept. Is this going to be LM/HG??? Just wondering.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes.
It's nice to see things finally fall into place.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes, things are coming together, but there is still more to come! First, lovely, many, varied lemons, lol. And another question or two ;)
YES!! He divorced Narcissa! Lovely chapter! Beautifully written. I really love the relationships you have between your characters! Keep up the amazing work. Update again soon. ~Jen
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Ahh shucks, thanks! Yes, he divorced Narcissa, but that doesn't mean we've seen the last of her, lol. On the way next is, well, I suppose you can imagine :)As always, thank you so much for reading and reviewing, I appreciate both!Dari
Cruel of you to cliffie... Though I can see why you would! LOL Lovely chapter, I'm impressed with how well the divorce situation went with Narcissa. Draco's talk was just lovely. How funny!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Oh, something tells me we haven't seen the last of Narcissa, lol.I love that Draco actually grew up and made a life for himself :)I had to end the chapter somewhere, lol. Lots and lots and lots of lemony goodness on the way :D
I know! I know! They're going to play pinochle!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
LOL! NO! Gin rummy, followed by a game of chinese checkers!!Actually, they are going to !
Response from Gardengirl (Reviewer)
LOVE the 'censored' icon!!!I think they're going to indulge in a version of fondue
Oh, man he has a temper when drunk! So it was Gobbert that gave him his journals! I also like that the elf told him all he knows. Poor, little guy, having to deal with all the fling furniture and exploding chairs! Narcissa handled that quite nicely. Draco took it well.Hermione is in for a night as well!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes, he has one hell of a temper, but he's not Avada-ing anyone ;) I think Gobbert is used to it by now.Narcissa handled it well? Hmmm.... Draco? LOL You could say that :)And regarding Hermione's night? You've no idea As always, thanks so much for reading and reviewing!Dari
Gobbert deserves a medal! Cissa -- shouldn't Lucius get her to swear that she will no longer scheme against him? I'm glad Lucius was awake to receive Hermione, but really, he was the bad boy in the "Severus-Hermione" incident! thanks for the new chapter.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Isn't Gobbert lovely? He is wonderful :)Oh, Lucius always ties up loose ends, LOL, not to worry. And Lucius is a Slytherin, he'll always be the bad boy, lol. That is who he is, thinks in terms of himself and his life. You are very welcome to the new chapter. Thank YOU for reading and being kind enough to leave a review, I appreciate both!
Oh man, when he started making love to her I wondered why Severus would have shown this to Lucius - all of it - then his past self walked in! That must have been quite a blow to Lucius in the past. It will be interesting to see what he does, now that he knows.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes, I imagine it was a blow to Lucius, who loves Severus as a brother. But these men are Slytherin, aren't they? And Severus knew what he was doing when he showed Lucius the conversation he and Hermione had before Lucius walked in on them. And Lucius knew what he was doing in the past, even though it is lost to him now. What will Lucius do, now? Will he take Severus' advice and move on? Will he take advantage of the situation? Perhaps ;)As always, thanks so much for reading and leaving a review!
Well, that last paragraph on Lucius' thoughts brings me to hope for a good moment between him and Hermione soon. Great job with the emotions and descriptions in this chapter. Can't wait for more! ~Jen
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Hermione and Lucius are on the way, but some things need to be tidied up, first. Rest assured, lemons and more lemons are on the way, I just have to get them there, lol.As always, thank you so very much for reading and leaving a review :)Dari
It's really neat how you blended Muggle business, with another Muggles bussiness that has a product with accidental magical contrabutions and Malfoy found out about it! A Muggle business. The whole buyout and failure of companies is really smart - happens all the time. But that Narcissa is in the mix makes sense to me. (and yes, I think she is in the mix maybe not the Oblivate part but Flannigan talking to Lucius about a partnership, Yes.) She might even be planning to make Lucius end up in Azkaban so she reaps all the Malfoy money.Poor, Hermione, she just can't think like a Slytherin. He is still married and Narcissa is obviously involved in the thick of things. There is someone willing to hite a hitwizard for dirty work, and I still think there is more to this than she knows about. Besides, he isn't telling her how he feels! He just gave her the 'not now - I have to think/sort things out' bit without the explanation of why. She needs the why.I hope things work out. Looking forward to more.
One more tiny thing... you have a 'hasbeen' that need dividing right after Hermione talkes about PW tracing the credit card at the Duke. I really got a kick about that - PW - Potter and Weasley decective services! That was a real stroke of genius.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Oh God, I love this review :)Glad you like the twists and turns so far, and Narcissa is evil, no doubt about it. To what extent, well, we'll wait and see.Yeah, poor Hermione, wearing her heart on her sleeve like that, not being able to see the forest for the trees, you know? But still, how is Lucius supposed to tell her how he feels? Perhaps he doesn't really know yet. Hmmmmm....... Fixed the little hasbeen, thanks!!! Things like that are a distraction, and drive me crazy! The Duke and all the places mentioned are real, btw. LOVE The Duke! EXCELLENT Literary Pub Crawl!! Jeez, you get drunker than the Mad Hatter, though, lolThank you very, very much for reading and leaving such a stunning review, I appreciate both!!!
Thank you so much for the update, I must say I like how this story developes, very nice twist there at the end. Please hurry with the next chapter:-))
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Ahhh... thank you! LOTS more on the way :)Thanks for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate both!
Now the events are taking quite interesting turns here. Thank you!
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
Yes, now the story is going to unfold at a much faster pace. Still LOTS of story to cover, however. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, I appreciate both very much!
is that a D-I-V-O-R-C-E that I see up ahead for Cissa and Lucius? I hope so! what a twist, to have Cissa with a Muggle. c'mon, Lucius - figure out how to divorce Cissa without giving her a Sickle! thanks for the new chapter.
Response from nastygrl (Author of No Looking Back)
ROFL!
There is a lot more left to discover, including if a D-I-V-O-R-C-E is on the way :)Thanks so, so much for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate both!
