Christian Bale= deliciously edible. Tasty. Heehee.
Ooh, thank god, the cliche white shirt was avoided. Deep red? Nice touch! Excellent chappie!
what would i give to see him in jeans and a tee shirt! wonderful update. i'm glad she finally told her parents the entire truth altho i thot her mom made some valid points. what severus' mother tried to do to him was criminal abuse. definately and interesting take on sev's family. thanks so much for this soaringly beautiful story
Lovely interlude in Australia. :)
Nice chapter, I enjoyed Hermione getting back with her parents. It must have been tough, but I think it was good for her.
this was good, i need to reread the description of him in the water
I've become addicted to this story! I can't wait until the next chapter posts. Keep up the marvelous writing!!
Ooh, such a good chapter. Excellent resolution with the parents, and good take on Eileen and Tobias. Lovely work, keep it up!
thanks so much for your hard work - loved the back story of Eileen Prince - very dark, but well thought out. Thanks for sharing!
Please keep posting...I am completely in love with this story! The idea of Snape being a selkie is really interesting. Thanks for the update and keep them coming, please.

oh, man ...that was an eeeeviillll cliffie! what a lovely lovely story. i can't wait for the next update. thanks so much.

Hee. At least I've refrained from ending on a cliff with ALL the chapters, huh? So glad you're enjoying this :)
Not everyone seems to know that TPP does not allow more than one chapter in the queue at any given time. The next one always goes to the end of the queue as soon as the first one is validated. But at least you keep them queued, which is fantastic!
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Grins, yes, you're right. I can upload two at a time, but the second is kept on hold until the first is processed :)Thanks so much for reading.
This story is awesome--and is always in queue--why not make the chapters longer? like update two chapters at a time. That would totally make me squee!
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Thank you very much; I'm very glad you like the story.Well, now... that would sort of be like eating breakfast and lunch together... the chapters are each their own and should be savoured as such, I think :D Thanks for reading!
I think Hermione scared the crap out of Severus and Minerva and that's why they are so angry with her. I suspect it will take awhile for them to get over it.I loved the action in this chapter.

Exactly so, Sinbad, exactly so. Thank you so much!
this a great story line. Thanks for putting a different spin on things.

Thank you. And thank you for reading!
Aww he cares. Maybe a little too much, yes? Good chapter!
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Grin. Thanks so much!
pontificating portraits, secretive, snide, sarcastic selkie. I love alliteration. And portraits. I'm enjoying the relationship you wove between Hermione and Severus. You also have created an entirely new story line that I'm really enjoying.
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Smiles; I love alliteration, too. Thank you--I'm glad you're enjoying the exploration of the selkies.
I keep meaning to let you know how much I love this story. I look forward to reading every time I see that you've uploaded a new chapter, and it just keeps getting better and better!
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Aw, thank you so much, and thanks for all the time you take doing the validation queue :DI'll keep them coming until it's all uploaded; there are 16 chapters in total!
Oh, can't wait to see his reaction to that statement....and oh my, he's a selkie??? Yikes! Oooh, can't wait to see how this goes!
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Hee. You've made me smile hugely... Yes, he's a selkie, just like his mother Leenash was; it's a genetically inherited trait :)
and reading it has been even better! thanks so much for this gem. love sev and harry's interaction.
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Thank you!I like to think that Harry and Snape could be friends after the war... it's a tentative true at first, but I think it's a lovely thought. Thanks for reading!
I wonder who found Hermione. I enjoyed the bet scene as well.
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Thank you very much. The question to your answer is coming up in the next chapter :)
Oh! Amazing, amazing chapter...Hermione's curiosity has gotten her into trouble again...and we can guess who's coming to the rescue! Fabulous update!
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Thank you so much... Grin... you'll see in the next chapter :)Thanks for reading!
I like how Hermione analyzed her lesson and discussed it with Severus. He seemed much more approachable lately between not biting her head off and the sixty-three second dueling lesson.
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Thank you so much. She's grown up a fair bit, particular during the war year, and I think Severus can see her maturity here... she's a woman, not a child any longer :)
Not bad, I wonder if Hermione will ever mention she knows why Seeverus is taking the day off.
Response from Somigliana (Author of The Silvering Divide)
Thanks for reading :D
