A little mystery and intrigue thrown in the mix, huh?  Of course, Severus is a bit paranoid.  I enjoyed Poppy's musings.

Does Severus not realize the reason he feel depleted is due to withdrawl?  Again I am like Poppy and would love to wrap him in cotton batting and just take care of him

Silly boy, always trying to do things himself.  It was cute that Minerva kissed him this time.  I loved Alastor's comment about him being a Casanova.

I read the whole story so far this morning and I have to congratulate you on a very nice little tale. Not much action in it, but nevertheless, the interactions between the characters are quite interesting. And of course it's good to see Severus finally in good care!

Oh God! Poor Severus how completely humiliating, but then he has brought this on himself.  I absolutely love your characterization because it makes me want to tuck him up and take care of him myself.  A strong man weakened always does that to me.

I've read so many tales where Severus always has the upper hand/  It's nice to see Poppy does in this instance.  Thanks for the update

When you're not allowed to feign sleep...and your nurse has complete control over whether your pants are up or down...then you have reached a new circle of hell.  But then, he is an extremely difficult patient.  Another good chapter.  And thanks for updating so regularly.

Thanks for this update!  Poor Severus, so ashamed that he is not able to spy. Feeling useless.  I am glad he is able to take some comfort from the love of his friends.  after all the manipulative (and sometimes downright nasty) Dumbledores I have seen lately, it is nice to see sweet Dumbledore back, even if it is AU.  Long live AU!

Oh, that was so heartbreaking.  Hearing him berate himself for not being able to do so much just made me tear up.  At least his friends are there to help him.
