Hi,
I absolutly love fanfiction but I never thought I would write one myself. But when Healer Pomfrey put up a contest I decided to write a stroy for it! The result was my story "Everything will be okay soon" !
I'm a social worker in a children shelter for abused, hard to educate and/or criminal girls.

Poor guy. It's really embarrassing to look so weak. But he'll get better. I like seeing this side of Albus. Someone who actually cares and gets a little testy when someone's not taking care of themselves.

Thank you very much for your review!
I hope Severus is coming to realize that there are people who care about him. I am glad Albus got in his face.

Hehehe, Snape in the middle of attention - I bet he hates it. Lovely how they made him eat and he too sick to refuse. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Thanks a lot for the review! The next chapter will be up as soon as my beta has corrected it!

That's an awful lot of work just to appear well. I know, he wants his fuss free privacy. Can't he just tell the ministry that he won't make all of the potions they have requested?
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
But that would be too easy, wouldn't it? Severus always thinks he has to repay for his stay at Hogwarts. The next chapter will bring more light into it. It will be up as soon as my beta has corrected it!

So, so, when is this? Is Voldemort in the picture, I can't tell. Nice beginning.

You will find out in the third chapter. ;) Thanks for your review!

They're on to him and hopefully will get the poor guy to bed.

I hope my beta will send me the corrected versions of the next two chapters soon. So that I can update it!

Well, now I'm really worried about him. Not able to eat, feels like he has "stones on his chest"...and he damn near fell asleep in the toilet. This man is suffering! Send help soon. PS: I notice your note about not being a native English speaker. Congratulations! You are a better writer in English than some native speakers I know.

Thanks a lot for the review! The next chapter will be up as soon as my betas have corrected it!The original versions of my chapters wouldn't pass the high standarts of this side but my betas are doing a great job.

Poor guy. I can imagine that he easily sinks into depression. I'm glad he fights to not go there.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Yes, but but it is hard to fight it without help. But of course there will be help!

Poor Severus sounds like he could use a little fuss made over him, might ease the depression a little. Interesting start. I look forward to the next chapter.

I like it! What in the world is happening to Severus? Those "certain women will start to make a fuss" over him as soon as they realize what is going on.This promises to be very entertaining! Good job!Beth
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
I will not give away what's wrong with him right now. *evil grin* But the next chapter will be up soon. :) Thanks for your review!

This is a very intriguing story this far, thanks for sharing!

Minerva's caring attitude was sweet. He's really embarrassed, poor guy. But it was a good thing, I think.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Thanks for your review! I have problems to get my chapters through the validation system. Even with two betas! But I have found a third beta now and hope that I can update more frequently soon!
Note to self... never mess with Poppy Pomfrey.Oh, I felt embarrassed for Severus myself, but she had to have him listen to her and do what she said. Poor guy, so very sick...
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
I really enjoyed to write this chapter because I knew that Severus is only emberassed and doesn't get a trauma of it. I'm glad that some people see it the same way as I do! :)Thanks for your review!
poor Severus! you worked in some backstory and now I feel sorrier for him than I did before! I'm glad the ladies are on to him. I like his easy relationship with Filch.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like the Filch relationship. On another side I got a different review.
I think it's funny he is planning to try to get the house-elves to lie about his non-existant breakfast. If he spent as much effort on his own health as he has been spending on keeping his problem from his friends, he might not be ill at all!
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Oh, yeah.
A good beginning. I think you do a fine job describing his illness.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Thanks a lot!
Oh, yeah, he's doomed alright. Those two are going to harp and henpeck and make him comfortable, and hopefully take care of him. Isn't it funny that when you really need to lie down it seems that everything goes wrong?
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Absolutly. Thanks for the review!
You've certainly got my attention...and I'm worried about the Professor. I was touched at the suggestion that Argus Filch is sensitive to Snape's condition and concerned about him but doesn't nag him. Just a small correction: The first quote from the two students should go to Hanson. You've inadvertently given both quotes to Connor. And a little later on, did you mean to say that Hanson "staggered" back, rather than "stuttered" back?
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Thanks a lot for the corrections. I fixed the Hanson/Conner problem. But I meant stuttered and not staggered. Why did you suggest it? Doesn't make it sense?I'm glad you like the Filch part. On another side someone said he wouldn't believe that Severus would be friendly to him and let him call him by his first name. I always imagined these two to go along well. So I'm glad someone else also sees it like me.
Response from Teal (Reviewer)
I agree with you about there being an affinity between Severus and Argus Filch. Both have experienced being detested by just about everyone around them! and they share the "sport" of pouncing on students who are breaking the rules. As to "staggered" versus "stuttered": to me, "staggered" suggests a movement of the entire body; "stuttered" suggests a speech pattern. For example: "I c-c-c-can't believe you said that!" This said, you are the author of this story. You know what you meant to say! Another chapter soon? I love this story so far. Thanks.
Addicted! That explains a lot about his symptoms.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
I thought so. :) Thank you for your review!
Oh, it's so hard to see himself so negative about his relationships. Hopefully Poppy can help Minerva see that. I enjoyed Poppy's motherly attitude. Severus needs someone like her in his corner.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
I'm glad you like how Poppy is. Thank you very much for your review!
Addiction is one of the hardest afflictions to admit. I doubt that Severus has truly accepted that he is addicted to the other potions yet. It is much like alcoholism. Denial is more than a river in Egypt. Let us hope Severus can traverse it.
Response from grugster (Author of Taking Care)
Thank you very much for your review!
Poor guy. At least there's a potion to help with being addicted to pain potions.
