A Fine Divide

Snape is once again bound, and as he struggles to accept yet another yoke, he meets a fellow wizard, who suffers a similar undeniable and unbreakable tether. This was inspired by the 'Anything Goes Challenge' and is based upon the prompt that Snape is encouraged to take a vacation. The slash is not explicit, but is slightly more than just implied.

Wonderful chapter! I can't wait to see how these proceedings and events will play out eventually, and what the two of them will make out of this all...
Author's Response: Thank you for the review. We shall see what comes of it. :)

Forced to go on holiday! *giggle* How typical for Snape - and Minerva, too. And to meet Neville of all people! The potions kit part is quite a brilliant idea - awfully great means to enslave people and punish them. Poor Snape!
Author's Response: Some people have to be told when to take it easy, and I see Snape as that sort. To be honest, I have no idea why Neville sprang into my head so quickly and irresistibly, but he did, and I'm having fun with that. I like the character McGonagall, and I feel that she was overlooked a bit in the books--make amends here! lol.
The potion created by the Ministry is nasty, and I'm pleased that you saw how nasty it is. I like the irony that he's 'enslaved' through another of his passions and loves. All is not lost though....
Thank you for the review and the stars.

Oh my, what a bleak existence, and such bleak prospects... I only can hope that his idea, or rather his plot, will play out in some sufficient way. *wants to hug Severus, sit him on sofa with nice cup of tea and make him rather comfy...*
Author's Response: It is a bit dire, and I bet quite a few readers wouldn't mind tucking Snape in. :D
