That last bit made me laugh out loud! I have the perfect picture in my mind of a suitably (in his own mind) intimidating Severus Snape, resplendent in his billowing teaching robes walking down the main aisle of the Great Hall with sure steps, his usual teaching face firmly in place... and his hair in a fair imitation of a tussy-mussy.
Thank Merlin! that Minerva had the presence of mind to charm his hair into place without his ever knowing. 
I wonder if she will ever tell him... he would be completely mortified!

Minerva has been a very good friend to Severus. Her advice was perfect for the two people who were obviously falling head over heels for each other.And Severus and Hermione had married and Minerva "would often remind him of how she saved his life while bouncing his youngest on her knee."This is such a sweet story about how the Potions Master and his Apprentice have come to be together!Beth

Yes, I am continuing this story - it needs a little tweaking (writing in this tense has been a challange to say the least!) but there are three more chapters. Glad you're reading and enjoying it!

I'm so glad you decided to continue this. Severus' pov was quite different and enjoyable. Many dual pov's run the same basic story with little but a few different thoughts. This really had quite a bit more than that. And I just love hearing Severus' thoughts.

I loved the last line! For him to be so preoccupied by his time with her that he didn't even notice he wasn't up to his ususal standards, let alone Minerva's spellwork upon his person, says quite a lot in Hermione's favor.

Great story. I thought it might have been better as a slightly longer story, but still not bad. Great writing and I liked how you developed the background of the characters before plunging into the story. Again, nice job.~Jen

This is such a lovely story! I could have jumped for joy when Severus told her, ‘Hermione, you are going to give yourself cardiac arrest if you do not stop fantasising about me. Now, you can either kiss me, or leave for the day. You will achieve nothing otherwise.’ Merlin's britches! This was fun to read!Beth

Ah! Perfect! I finish reading not even needing a hot, steamy scene because you've left us with the feeling that you've given us just that. (I think it might have been the line about giving herself cardiac arrest.)

LOL..... I was actually attempting to write something without a sex scene in it, so I am very glad you were able to gain something without the graphics I usually indulge in.I gave in sadly - chapter 3 is a little juicy. Ahh well. I did try!Thanks for the comments.

Yes, well ... if anyone can relate to that, I can. All of my early stories had a sex scene in it. Some of them, every single chapter. Sex overload, I think. Meant to be taken a chapter at a time, I think. I'm trying to move beyond that. LOL
