I don't know what to say this is powerful, too powerful for simple words.

What a horrific tale. Don't get me wrong, you've written it beautifully. It was truly hard to read parts. It's hard to believe that this truly happens in the world. I can't imagine she'll fell good about herself for a long while. Hopefully she will eventually, though. I'm sure her friends, current and future, will help.

It's hard to write parts, because in writing it, it's like I'm doing it to the characters. When something happens like this to someone you know, you just wish you could erase it, and in this case, I could. However, that wouldn't serve the purpose I've constructed for this story at all.

Hermione's thoughts in this were very ... poignant, I think is the word I am looking for. This one line in particular at the very beginning—hoping against all hope that Death Eaters would come and kill her—I think set the tone. What a great sentence to begin with. I don't have any experience with this particular traumatic situation, but I've had enough of my own that I can feel that sentence, and I know that sentence personally. Her desperation, her need for comfort, yet the overwhelming need to get away and be alone ... it's early, and I don't want to get too emotional, but what you've written was done well. It needed to be written. And thank you for writing it.

I was attempting to make this story relatable to those who've suffered. Regardless of what the specifics are, sometimes, someone, needs to have at least part of their story out there, if only see the response.

You are right. It is so true. And people will relate, anyone whose gone through any traumatic experience, because human emotions are the same worldwide.

I'm hoping to present a realistic reformation of a shattered psyche. Thanks for the review.
