When the Ministry refuses to finance Hermione's research project, the only option she has left is the library at Malfoy Manor. She hasn't met Lucius since the war. What happens when she comes face to face with him again? And what has Snape to do with it all?

I am a latecomer to the Potterverse (way after HBP). I was searching the web for everything and anything about Snape one day when I accidentally stumbled over my first Severus/Hermione story. I read it, was intrigued, searched for more, and the rest is history.
My fandom world very much revolves around Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy.
My favourite 'ships are Hermione/Severus, Hermione/Lucius, Severus/Lucius, and my OT3: Severus/Hermione/Lucius.

Loved the ending, though I wish there'd been more exposition of the intrigue / conflict. :D Thank you for sharing!

Thank you!I'm very glad you like this.I would have loved to elaborate more on the intrigue, but this was originally written for a fic exchange on livejournal and I decided to focus more on the action part in order to make my (already generously extended) deadline.

I really like your story. good mix between a real storyline and sex. Nice. I want more of it.

Thank you! I'm really happy you like this.
Omg. Thank you so much for finishing this story. I was so happy when I noticed it was updating again! I loved your lemony bits! You write them so wonderfully and they were really awesome. I was also very happy with the simple ending. Very, very cool. Thanks for the great fic! Much Love ~ Brena

Thank you for your lovely review and the shiny stars! I'm so very happy you enjoyed this. Your kind words about my lemony scenes have put a big happy smile on my face :D
Oh, poor Mrs. Weasley. She should have never tired to mess with Hermione in such a way nor taken on Lucius Malfoy! Well, at least she should have simply gotten overherself and realized that Ron and Hermione were a bad fit. I was so angry with Ginny, causing a scene like that, *shakes head* Good little tryst! enjoyed it.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Yes, Molly should have known better...
Thank you for your lovely reviews and the shiny stars!

It's never a good idea to mess with Hermione or Lucius. Especially not with both of them at the same time...
Thank you very much for all your lovely reviews and the shiny stars! I'm so very happy that you enjoyed this.
Oh, there is nothing like two guys making plans - but these two make it an art form! Love Lucius scheming!
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Scheming is what Lucius does best ;D
Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Thank you!
Yes, Severus and Lucius have definitely developed the art of planning. I'm so happy you love scheming!Lucius! I have to admit that I adore him when he is cunning and scheming ;D But then, I love him anyway :D
Oh things worked out very well. I loved Severus' reaction although I though he'd be more miffed. Lucius' reactions were interesting, but then I don't understand his as well, I think. He was the brut of a drugging and he's taking it really well. And what's up with Percy - the prat. I'd just quit! Hermione's better off on her own than putting up with this shite!
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you! I'm very happy you liked Severus's reaction. Lucius wasn't too happy about the potion, but since Hermione in a way revived an old tradition he understands what she is doing. Seeing that he is rather smitten with her his perception might be a bit clouded anyway, ahem.
Ok so her little trickery worked out for her. She's lucky that they didn't get mad, but decided to take her up on it.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you! They weren't angry because the offer was too good to pass up *g*
Oh good gods, what is she - NO! He'll be furious! Severus is there and he'll know and.... Oh, she is, isn't she? Use a love potion on Lucius?
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
*looks mysterious*
Thanks for reading and reviewing :)
Oh, it's so sad that about Harry and Ginny, expected of Hermione and Ron, ut then to be alinated from the Weasley's totally. Harry doesn't really have anyother family. It's sad.Hermione's facig her deamons. Good, she needs that.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
I agree, it's very sad for both Harry and Hermione because they all used to be so close.Hermione definitely needed to face her demons.
Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Lucius is so smooth in this story and I loved seeing Severus show up in the library. It's cute how Sevrus took and iterest in Hermione's research project.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you!
I'm very happy you like Lucius and Severus in this story :)
Oh a life of druggery and disappointment. Why ever wuld they place her there? Why wuld she accept such a position in the Ministry?
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Yes, right now Hermione isn't happy! Thanks for reading and reviewing.
Huh, hon, you really, really dislike the Weasleys *grins maliciously* Well done - finally you posted the long awaited ending of your lovely story!
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
*grins back* I usually like Ginny and Charlie, but apart from that the Weasleys aren't exactly my favourite family. I think they could turn rather nasty if things didn't go their way. Thank you very much for your review and the lovely stars!
Mrs Shacklebolt, eh? What a lovely way to get rid of Narcissa!
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you!I like Narcissa and want her to be happy - just not necessarily with Lucius ;D
Nice move on Severus' part to shut Ginny up. A little part of me rejoiced when I read that. This was a wonderful story, dear. =)

I hope Hermione, Lucius, and Sev are able to take down the apparently formidable Weasley clan.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
I think their chances are good :DThanks for reviewing!
I'm glad that Hermione showed up the Weasley's at the dinner. Ginny is normally hot-headed, so I can see her acting the way she did, plus Severus' response.A good way to end the story. Looking forward to your next one. =)
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoyed this.
I enjoyed your story. Lots of action :D

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this.
I didn't see Severus and Lucius being involved with one another, but it is quite a nice surprise.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you!I'm glad you like the two together.
Damn, she is one lucky girl. And to think it all started with her attempt at slipping Lucius a love potion. =)
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Yes, Hermione is a very lucky girl :D
Thanks for reviewing.
*wonders what Hermione is making* She certainly has it bad for Lucius. =)
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
She does - and who could blame her ;D
Thank you for reading and reviewing.
Even though Lucius is partly responsible of her initial pain, he does find a way to comfort her. I am curious to find out if Hermione passed out from being tired or if there was something in her drink. I've not yet figured out if Lucius is good or if he still has that hint of dark to him. Either way, I am enjoying this little tale.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you! I'm very happy you're enjoying this.
I think even a reformed Lucius will always have a Darker side.
That private library in Malfoy Manor sounds positively delightful. I also love how Sev just catches on immediately to what Hermione is researching
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Author of Touch the Dark)
Thank you!
I don't remember if the Malfoy library was ever mentioned in canon, but it's definitely one of my favourite places in the Potterverse. The only thing that is better than Lucius and books, is Lucius, Severus, and books. :D
