A rainy day in winter. Hermione, lying ill in bed, is haunted by memories of the past and makes a final decision. This is a sequel to "Unkissed".

Reviews for Journey's End
I discovered Valentine Mischief at like 3 am this morning. And I finally had to force myself to tak a break from unkissed, but started reading as soon as I woke up. And I just finished this piece. You truely are an amazing writer. I loved all three stories, I got so wrapped up into the characters. The ending was perfect. It made me bawl my eyes out for a good ten minutes. It just grabbed my heart. But it was perfect! They ended it together forever bound!

Thank you for your lovely review, and of course for reading my stories. I am glad you liked them - and it still feels odd to know I can make other people cry ;-)

I've read the two fics proceeding this one, all on this night and I just wanted to let you know that you made me cry! ='( It's the saddest ending I've ever read! I'm the kinda girl who always expects a happy ending- though I'm not all that naive to believe that's how life is, but in stories?? Fanfictions?? Severus/Hermione romances?! Its so... ugh... sad! I'm pretty depressed now. =CReading this was a very welcome procrastination tactic from doing my history homework, but it soon became an obsession! The whole story is just so masterfully wrought. It has a lot of shape and I can really feel and see the way you describe everything. Frankly, I wish I had your talent! Now I step back and applaud, sullenly resigning myself to my awful fate- homework.--

Hi there!I do hope you mastered your homework, and I would like to apologise for having made you depressed. Occasionally, I have an urge to write sad stories, bitter, and cruel stories in order to outbalance all the smut I come up with, too. This one is definitely my saddest fic.I'm blushing at your compliments. Thank you for reading, thank you for reviewing. I do hope you will find a story that makes you happy again, there are a lot of marvellous authors out there.
My heart feels heavy, yet so beautiful...
