Stargazing

A new scene from Care of Magical Creatures written for the Romancing the Wizard "Bring Out Your Dead" Challenge. A 750-word "outtake" scene, never seen before, from earlier in the story when the angst was less angsty.
Prompt: An incredible orgasm.

Care of Magical Creatures recently received two awards on "Secrets of the Dark Vaults," a Russian fanfic site. Best NC-17 and Best Maxi Translation. The Nine-Year Plan was awarded Best Mini-Fic! I'm delighted to be in translation and to please the readers in Russia!

With the completion of Care of Magical Creatures my fanfic output is going to slow way down, but if you want to be sure to know when new fics post, please follow me on twitter. I don't tweet much, but I'll surely tweet that kind of thing.
About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

Unexpected and devilishly delicious.

Thank you! I was hoping it would stand alone okay, even though it's definitely very much "of" Care of Magical Creatures!

The big bad spy is afraid of his teenage wife. Ha!

Her quest for knowledge is rather overwhelming. Ahem.

Just when I think you are positively evil for putting your readers through the current suspense of Care Of Magical Creatures (and seriously, if my hair turns prematurely grey overnight, I am blaming it entirely on your excellent work on that fic, LOL) you suddenly pull this little rabbit of loveliness out of your hat. Fabulous!

Thank you so much. I was afraid people would throw rotten (salmonella-laced) tomatoes at me!

A lovely, hot scene. And I love that his first thought was that she was reading books again. It was funny and sweet.

Well, we do know about Hermione and her fucking books.Thank you!

I had to reread this. And sure enough, my theory was right. Nowhere in a story titled Stargazing, in a plot device that involves stargazing, does my favorite couple actually gaze upon the stars. Coincidence? I think not!! Fabulous writing as always, Mia. Much <3 <3.
Response from mia madwyn (Author of Stargazing)
No coincidence--pure irony, I suppose. I really wanted to title it "Fucking Hell" but knew that wouldn't get by the sensors, so I grabbed "Stargazing" even though I knew they didn't actually do any. LOL! Thank you so much!

Oooh, I love this, snarky Snape and wanton Hermione are perfect and so sweet together. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter of Care of Magaical Creatures. CAS

Oh, I did wonder if this was a "Magical Creatures" scene, and I'm not sure where it would go either. Perhaps tucked in behind Severus' heart? You are a lovely writer. And I am waiting patiently for further "Magical" posts. It's such a terrific story, so well told. And yes, it is a tad angsty at the moment, but I like it that way.Of course, I like it this way, too! “Oh, indeed, they queued up for the privilege,” he snapped. Yes, we did. Thanks ever so much!

Thank you so much!
I kind of thought a scene between two swots who had never been to the top of the Astronomy Tower to snog (only to run off other snoggers) might be kind of sweet. Um, I'm not sure "sweet" is the correct word for this, but it was fun.
Response from Elise_Wanderer (Reviewer)
Oh, Severus would hate "sweet," but I think it describes it nicely!

hiya, thanks for introducing me to this website, the stories on here are amazing, well ive read two so far, but they wrere brilliant,I like how you got the magical wand in this chapter, and i believe this is between Hemione after she had read the first books on pleasing ones husband and the point where Severus falls over the heels in love, but i can see the signs in this one of the developing love. That is where i can see you putting it in CoMC lol. Loved it, thanks, i miss reading that storyxxx
