"There are Death Eaters in the house." Literally, that phrase sent chills over me. Madam Prince might be my hero, or at least, someone I seriously admire. Yay for sneaky house-elves, too.

And Snape's letter... ah, a confession of love from the man can be done so poorly in the wrong hands. Thank the gods we've got you, Subversa. Perfect, and I felt as elated as Hermione.

And an ice dragon! What will you think of next? I KNEW that Pettigrew would get his then, and I am beyond thrilled! Excellent way to die.

Now let's hope that Morgen lives and makes her lord happy. What an honor to be so cursed...

Oh, no! Hermione, go to Hogwarts, not Hogsmeade!

Oh my!  I know this is all very crucial to the plot... I can see the interactions, but I really miss the interaction between our two main players.I hope Hermion makes it to Hogwarts and I have a feeling that Morgan will be Polyjuiced to look like Hermione for some reason when she is sent to Hogsmead...ewww.Thank you for the fabulous update.  I eagerly await more.

Oh, I hope Hermione manages to stay safe now that she's escaped the clutches of Dolohov and Pettigrew. It's wonderful to finally see Hermione and Severus coming to terms with their feelings. Thanks for another excellent chapter.

Now that was a nice ending for Peter.  I really enjoyed this chapter, Severus's grandmother was a hoot.  I loved how she commented (internally) on Severus's lack of education in dealing with women and how she very neatly disposed of two Death Eaters.Very creative and fun to read.

Ohhhh, this story is so good. Every time I see there is an update, I literally cannot do a thing until I've read it. Two more chapters?! I'm simultaneously relieved and saddened. Subversa, this is one of the all time best sshg stories out there. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent with us!! Who knew Severus had such a romantic streak in him. I think that letter was so sweet. I think Madam Prince's plan went rather well. I'm sure Voldemort will not be too happy to find out that Pettigrew and Dolohov didn't make it. Unless he knew about the dragon in the Prince cellar, and sent them there on purpose. I can't wait to see what happens next, especially the reunion between Severus and Hermione.

You spin such a vivid tale and no need of lemons in this chapter which is nice at times.  (Sorry I like good plot development and furthering.)

I have a feeling this is my favourite chapter of this story so far! Just everything about it was brilliant - I loved that cute little dragon (and I'm not really feeling overly sorry for Dolohov and Pettigrew!), Madam Prince was charming, Scampy was wonderfully efficient... and that letter!I'm almost feeling sorry for Morgen - but that is what one gets for allying themselves with insane sadistic tyrants, so, she really picked her own fate.Oh, but I do feel uneasy about Hermione arriving just to witness the attack on Hogsmeade. Especially as she was just wondering about what to do next...~Kribu

Great!  Arcticus is awesome, Madam Prince is brilliant and Scampy should get an Oscar!  The letter was very Snape. 

Thank you for such an exciting update. It certainly does have the feeling of entering the homestretch, with a lot of different plot threads and personalities beginning to tie together. And Madam Prince continues to be such a great ruthless aristocrat -- she's so much fun to read!

I loved everything about it. It would make me supremely happy if you took many more chapters to complete your story.  My favorites:Scampy is a treasure.Madame Prince telling Hermione to not forget her Nexus if Severus goes all noble on her and insists she find "someone worthy" of her.Severus' letter to Hermione made my day! Squeeeeee He Loves Her! Scampy told them not to go in the cellar!  good ending for them, perhaps a worse one for Morgen.  I like Madame Prince more, since she is looking out for her grandson's happiness..

nothing else makes my heart skip a beat like an update to this story. it's just a fact. and what an update! i barely know what to say. i loved the dragon solution to that pesky death eater problem - brilliant and so creative! and i've never liked madam prince more than in this chapter. and scampy!

the scene with morgen was so agonizing, and i appreciated that even though she deserves all sorts of horribleness, severus did not enjoy seeing her so humiliated. neither did i. but it was very chilling and effective at portraying voldemort's sheer, unmitigated evil.

and - the letter! i was like, what could he have said to her, and then, oh my! what we've all been DYING to hear. :D so, in sum, terrific as ever.

Stunning, as always! I love the characterization of Madam Prince, and I have to admit I was smiling just as foolishly as Hermione at the last bit of Severus' letter. I can't wait until the next chapter!
