I'm a 26-year-old Accounts Payable manager for a construction company. Basically, I'm paid to write checks and intimidate the menfolk around here. I live with my boyfriend and our dog. I wasn't sucked into the HP fandom until just after the release of HBP. So, I'm a newbie compared to most of the fans out there. I've written in several other fandoms (under different pennames) - Anita Blake, Buffy, X-Files, etc.

Maybe blurting out about Lily in front of Margaret wasn't the right approach. Interesting story. I hated DH, the epilogue especially.

I'm glad everyone is happy about my ignoring the DH epilogue. I didn't feel like writing my way around it, but I also didn't want to use it in my story because RW/HG is just gross. :-)
Snapey secrets revealed?! I can hardly wait! Delightful chapter. I liked Margaret. Nice writing and character development in this chapter.

Thank you! This was a bit of a transitional chapter--a bit shorter than the others. I thought about lumping the beginning of the fourth chapter with it, but decided this would be a nice point to cut it off. There will be quite a bit more explanation of Snape's and Hermione's situations coming up very soon.
Wow I love what you are doing here, I agree book seven left much to be desired. I'm glad so many people are letting Severus continue.

Nope, sorry! Although, they're fairly speedy with the queue. I imagine it will be up by Friday evening or Saturday morning if they continue at the rate they're going. There seems to be a bit of a boom on fanfic writing since DH has been released.
He's certainly not making it too easy for her. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Interesting read. Do continue. I have a problem with stupid Hermione who can't be bothered to think reasonably (making a good impresson of Ron) and who rushes to scare Snape away. But, I have no problem ignoring the canon Epilogue and will gladly read whatever you write.

I think the reason for Hermione's rash actions and emotional turmoil may explained in a few chapters. There is something going on in her life that I only barely touched on in the last chapter. It will be dealt with a bit more in the next chapter, but won't be explained completely until later on in the fic.
Epilogue? What epilogue? *winks*
Another fabulous chapter! The tension of the moment when he sees her - gah. So good! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Oh I like it! yes I do bel that eppy is best left locked up in a trunk somewhere so we can run and play and show it really went down. Oh I can't wait to find out where they run into each other next!

Actually, Hermione will become impatient and track his ass down. With a little help, of course. Yay for take-charge Hermione.

Total denial, that's me, don't you love it?! Great chapter, I really want someone else to see Snape too, so Hermione isn't being told she's mad all the time! Loving the story though, can't for him to appear again.
