Ohhhhh!!!!  Just 4 chapters now but I'm loving this story so far.  You don't know how much I feel for the Snape in your fic.  ^_^

Yeah, the epilogue was not my favorite.  That and a dead Snape, although that was not as apparent, he might actually still be out there.  I like this, though.

Very nice! Poor Snape. With no qualifications suited for the muggle world, I imagine he didn't have much chance for a well-paid job (or alternatively he might have chosen to have as low-key existence as possible?).

I suspect, somehow, that this was not their last meeting. ;-) Especially as Hermione is going to be in need of a potions genius (and one most familiar with treating dark curses) very soon.

Severus' parting words made me ache for him more than I did before he said them.  Regret, and honest self-analysis are very painful, and even more painful to witness in another.  Nice writing.

LOVE this - excellent, excellent story so far.  He's definitely no Heathcliff - Healthcliff had *zero* redeeming qualitites, in my opinion.  Snape has a few.   Looking forward to more, especially reading how the romance fits in ;-)

Great stuff as the plot thickens. I like the scenario of how Snape survived the Shrieking Shack and the way it segued neatly into a Muggle existence for him. But poor Hermione -- sounds like she needs a Potions expert to come out of retirement...

I applaud your ignoring the epilogue. I think we should all collectively ignore that it existed and move on with what makes us happy. I am enjoying your tale and hope the next chapter comes soon. Thank you for writing

I'm not sure I would have had Margaret attend the first meeting. It's a little uncomfortable to have her watch a violent and puzzling scene and then just shrug it off. Still, there is the promise of secrets, which tempts ;-)
