So the attraction is there. I like the way you unfold the events so far, and the UST as well.
I bet it would be easy to get addicted to watching someone's memories. Interesting that he has her schedule jotted down (with that picture). I think he made that connection, too (the similarities)! LOL
I started feeling sorry for Hermione when she was comparing herself to the witch, but it all worked out in the end 
I wonder how isolated she'll be once she helps exonerate him- even then, it can't be too bad since we all know she'll have Severus with her. He was probably betting that she'll be the one to look at his pensieve to begin with.
WOW!! I'm sort of out of words for how much I love this chapter. It's pulling at my heart very much. I really am speechless. I'll just say I love it and can't wait for more and leave it at that. ^.^

Interesting start... more soon?Just one little quibble though. The Unbreakable Vow that Albus extricated from Snape... there should be a wizard or witch that was the 'bonder' for the ritual itself. Who is it? (In canon, Bellatrix did the bonding between Narcissa and Severus when they did it.) Just a question I had, i've seen this scenario used a few times and writers forget this element to the Unbreakable Vow.Hope to see more soon... Cheers!

Dumbledore would naturally have chosen another Order member, and while some people assume he would turn to McGonagall, I personally think he would be unlikely to pick someone at Hogwarts who would have close contact with Snape on a regular basis. It would only cause a rift between them, and I personally don't believe McGonagall would ever have consented to bond such a Vow. I've always imagined her insisting that risking both their lives simply would not be worthwhile.I feel that he would be far more likely to ask Shacklebolt, as he is both an Order member and a very discreet and powerful Auror. And, as you'll recall, Shacklebolt died in the final confrontation, so Snape would have been unable to call upon him to act as witness. Claiming to the papers that Shacklebolt witnessed the Vow would only seem desperate and contrived. But that is simply how I envision it. I'm sure other people feel Dumbledore would have acted or chosen differently.

The ending did seem a bit abrupt to me, but I think you are right about anything more being stale. I liked the story overall, especially the beginning chapters where he is still at Azkaban and his fate is undecided.
Ugh. The man is his own worst cock block lol. I really like the story so far, can't wait to see where it will go in later chapters.
