Lovely, as always! My goodness, the UST is palpable. *fans self* I loved the Romanian Minister. She knew just what Hermione needed to hear. We're starting to see more hints as to Severus' thoughts, too, which is fabulous. They're subtle, but definitely there.

I like Hermione being pulled aside and being told Severus likes her.  Minerva wasn't too thrilled about her student going so far away.  She shouldn't fear though. Severus seems to be a man of knowing bounders.

This chapter leaves me almost desperate for more... Please?

This story is just so masterfully done in each chapter that it's unbelievable. Each chapter is satisfying, but as soon as I'm finish I'm salivating for the next chapter.

Also, I'm really curious about your writing process. It's really amazing how you are able to write such a well-nuanced story chapter by chapter.

I would've reviewed the last chapter as well, but I never received the alert that the story was updated. I'm glad I logged on today. I think it's really great, what Severus did for Hermione. I was wondering if he was planning on doing something, with the way he was studying her while they were in Dumbledore's office. It's hard to discern because of this being in Hermione's POV, but I do believe Severus has feelings for her, or at the very least, he's starting to develop feelings. I would like to think it is the former, because of the exchange with Minerva.  And for the fact that the Romanian Minister of Magic recognized that in just meeting Hermione for the first time, it's probably painfully obvious that Severus has feelings for Hermione. It's also supported by how he scowled when Hermione mentioned her promised dance with Ron. If that wasn't a sign of jealousy, then I don't know what is. We all know he doesn't have cause to be jealous, since Ron is with Luna, but he is a bit possessive.

Wonderful! A welcome break from the angst.  Will he accompany her to the ball?  I wonder if they will ever have that longed-for dance...

Can there BE any more tension between these two? I do love this story - your writing is never heavy-handed or too obvious. Even minor characters are well drawn, and your Snape is commanding and vulnerable. :swoon:

Everything about this chapter is absolutely delicious.  Hermione's embarrassment about her recent and sudden blossoming, Severus' own reaction, their awkwardness, and the Romanian Minister's graciousness.  You are a master at UST! 

New chapter.  Really enjoyed this again.  And would Severus be jealous at the idea of Hermione wanting to get back to fulfil her promise to Ron?  Ha!

I also like how the potential enemy (The Romanian minister) turned out to be an ally.

That was pretty funny to have Hermione annoyed with her friends for not telling her that her body shape had changed. I can just picture the look on her face. It does seem that Snape is being subconsciously hit with Hermione's womanly wiles. They both have so much public bull to wade through daily.  I hope they will persevere.
