Now we're talking!  An angst-free chapter!  Yay!  And we're seeing hints of Severus' thoughts - which is lovely.  Here's hoping we've made to the other side of Angst Mountain and are rolling downhill towards the Romance! 

I literally squealed when I saw a new update.  This fic has very original elements.  I love the fact that it isn't predictable.  Keep me guessing!

Well that was fast! I was just lamenting over how long I might need to wait for an update and surprise! There it is. So thank you for enlightening an otherwise dreary day. Now for the good stuff...Again, wonderful characterisation. Hermione "thanking God" that valentines day didn't make her feel worse! LOL! I loved it. And I love Snapes amusement and flushing over their hug! Loved it. Brilliant as usual! Thanks for the quick update...Dare I hope that another will follow just as quick?

Though I do squawk slighly in protest that old Snape couldn't get off his duff and dance with our girl. I know, I know, it's probably more in character this way, but who can deny a shipper her rights to dream?

Did you intend for hermione's tea to change from a cup to a mug and then bac to a cup?  Did you mean these words as synonyms or as different items?

I've been reading this story for a bit now, yet this is my first reveiw **hangs head in shame**. I confess to being a bit biased in my story preferences. I often choose to neglect stories written in first person as I've often found them to be lacking in depth and descriptions. Then this gem came along. It is easily one of the most well written stories I've ever read in this genre, all tenses included, and I've read alot. The characters are amazingly well written; the plot is brilliant. Your choice of descriptions is wonderful, not overwhelming or redundant, but never lacking either. I'm enjoying this story incredibly. One of the best ever! Now as for this chapter: Fantastic! I love that she never actually asked, yet they both knew she had intended to. And the walk over to him must have been agonizing for them both! "Coquettish display" was a wonderful choice of words for Snape. I could totally envision him saying that with such distain! Well done! I can not wait for an update.

Lovely story, simply lovely!  Hermione's internal monologue is really well written.  I'm looking forward to reading more.

This is one of those stories that I have to check for updates daily.  I love how you developed Snape's background.  So plausible it could be canon!  Keep up the good work!

I really like how you've kept Snape in character; defensive, occasionally cruel, lashing out when discomfited - yet we can still see why Hermione is attracted to him.

I also like that Snape is more mature than Hermione, but can occasionally be downright childish.

What the HELL do they think they're playing at?! Even with Sprout to chaperone, this is another idea worthy of Luna Lovegood. Next thing you know, Sprout will be playfully insisting that they kiss, since it's mistletoe they're collecting.

The apprenticeship was dreadful news. I'm very curious to see how she's going to cope with this ... or will someone come to her rescue?

Most excellent, as always!  So suspenseful ... I had to read this chapter more than once. 

AAAHHHHH ! the horror!  the mortafacation!  It took me three try's to read it and  my husband openly mocking me  to spur me  on .  I have a very hard time watching people  being humiliated. I think i empathize to much. "AAAHHHHH" agin.  I just feel that that needed  be said (Thank you).
