Oh, you are very welcome!I'm so glad you enjoyed it!And thank you for your concern. I'm doing much better. It was my computer that took a hit this time. It crashed and burned, and that threw me off a bit. But that's okay, I have a lovely new laptop, that I can take with me and write whenever and where everI feel like it now. Yay!!!

Don't worry! I've not abandonded it. Life has just been very, very busy. I homeschool my 3 children and we just finished up the school year.I'm working on the next chapter now.So glad your enjoying the story so far!

Well, they were being greatly influenced by the mating ceremony. They needed to be back in their human form in order to think clearly. Don't worry! They still care about each other.
Oh my goodness, poor Severus. He almost had his hook in Hermione and Hagrid had to go and spoil it.
I can't wait to read what happens to them next. They both have some hard thinking to do.

Yes, they both do need to do some thinking. They were very much so influenced with their surroundings. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I just realized what this chapter reminded me of - well, the part about Hagrid plucking them from the water. In the movie, 'The Princess Bride' - the princess is plucked from the water from the Giant and I could just imagine it rather like the scene in the movie, haha!
Sorry, random I know - but it had been bugging me what that scene reminded me of all day!

I loved the description of the Merpeoples mating ceremony, it was so beautiful! But I'm glad that Hagrid found them before they had time to mate, they are needed in the Wizarding World and would have been sorely missed. LOL!

Poor Severus and Hermione! Talk about a cooling-off period. I feel bad being so amused by this, but Hagrid dumping them in the buckets was priceless. Looking forward to seeing how tea with Dumbledore plays out.
