I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

lol honestly, I'm worried about them both being jealous - most likely in regards to the "new" teachers and flirting...lol She seems very new to the whole flirting-in-a-sexual-way thing, and has had 2 male best friends for years...and there is always innocent flirting amongst friends of opposite genders (when she woke up, she responded to Severus' flirting very comfortably also - in a friendship setting?)...new male teachers, potential friendships, innocent flirting...I don't see Severus liking that. And the reaction of ppl to Severus will be flirtatious - we saw that with the shop keeper when he went to buy rings - I don't know how well Hermione will take that...ok, babbling so shutting up :P

That's one sweet chapter, and I mean sweet in the best sense, as opposed to corny. You managed to make them both open up to each other and avoided each and every moment when things could have become awkward or embarrassing. Kudos to you! I'm very, very much looking forward to witnessing the progress of this wonderful story.

I really like this story so far, and your have a great writing style. I'm excited to read more. This is one of the few stories that actually justifies them getting together, instead of just the marriage law. Keep up the great work

What a tender and loving chapter. It was romantic yet not cloying or too much. They both are trying so hard to make each other feel secure in what they are doing is right, you have made them very believable. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter. At first I thougth that they were very quick to accept the marriage "proposal" from Kingsley, but after thinking about it for a while I found it to be most logic for them to do so. They are sole survivours after a horrific battle, they will probably never find anyone who understands so well the scars, both visible and hidden, they carry with them. That reprecent a safety and comfort no other can provide, if you then add the respect they have for eachother, and the sligth attraction, they are both smart enough to realise that they have the base for something to build a relationship. Not to forget, they know eachother wo well they can have the most amazing dissagreements:-))

If I'm totally honest I felt that they jumped into saying yes and kissing etc. a little too quickly. There was little consideration of what 'marriage' means compared to 'lust' and Severus' earlier thoughts on being too old for her. However, despite this I thought they made a rather sweet couple in their efforts to embrace and I guess these considerations will raise their 'ugly' head during their marriage...it should be interesting!

I blame horny Severus :) But, yes, more discussions and trial and error will take place as they navigate their way through physical intimacy in their marriage.Thanks for reviewing!

Hermione is a very innocent and screwed-up young woman when it comes to sex. She obviously has healthy desires but feelings ashamed and uncomfortable expressing them. More will explain how she came to be that way and it won't be anything like sexual abuse, more how she was raised to believe about sex and her body. Severus will have his hands full with this one! LOL!The next chapter will have the wedding and the reception and wedding night. I'm not promising anything :)

Love the way Poppy tells them both all what to do. But it was so sad when Severus reminded that it was dinner time and Hermione was broken out of her pretense of detention to realize that there would be no one else to meet with in the Great Hall but Poppy.Curious - are all these various House Elves from different Death Eater's estates going to be loyal to Hogwarts and it's Headmaster? Dobby had settled in as a free elf, but Winky and Kreacher remained loyal to their owner/families for the most part.
