Ooh, what is Lucius up to? And poor ol' Ron; he's definitely not right for Hermione, but I do feel a bit sorry for him - making a right fool out of himself in more ways than one! I'm thoroughly enjoying your story so far, can't wait for the next chapter :D

If you've watched Ladyhawke (or read the synopsis from Wikipedia), I'm planning on Lucius being Marquet and Voldie on being the Bishop.Haven't started writing the third chapter, but ideas are down on paper.

Bravo! When I read this challenge I didn't think I would like reading the responses, but this certainly has my interest :D I like Severus as a little black kitten - in a weird sort of way I think it would be more of a relief to him than being turned into the standard snake/bat - something a little more calming (although a bundle of catnip could be amusing!)

At first, I thought of Snape turning into a snake or a bat and Hermione into a hawk (following Ladyhawke), but then again, I couldn't really manipulate it into being funny. So voila - Snape the dastardly evil kitten.Hmm. Your comment on catnip just gave me an idea..

yeah. I really didn't like the Epilogue for DH - I can't imagine Ron with Hermione (cause he's more of the man = breadwinner, wife = stays home with kids). I remember reading an essay on how JK Rowling toned down Hermione's personality just so that she could fit with Ron..

I enjoyed this chapter very much. You had me laughing through most of it, and I have rated it accordingly. I'm looking forward to more.

Now I get to visualize Severus in his dark hunkiness compared to Rutger Hauer in his blond hunkiness (lordy, he was hot in that flick). And Sev is a BLACK KITTEN!! I love it - will he have an encounter with Minerva or Mrs. Norris? :-DGood start. Can't wait for more.

Hmm.. I was thinking of a Mrs. Norris one, because McGonagall already knows that Severus is a kitty. I've seen snapshots from the old movie online when I was reading up on it - I couldn't actually put Rutger Hauer together with Snape for some reason.It's probably because I've never actually watched the movie.

Well, I was thinking that Dumbledore would be my 'Mouse' character, but I'm not exactly following the Ladyhawke storyline so it might be a teeny bit different.Ron is just to stir things up a little. And to make the castle a little more lively.

With this prompt, I find it hard to change directions - I mean, I personally love happily-ever-afters, so I guess it's kind of predictable.I'm glad you liked it!

When I was choosing a prompt, I was tempted to do the Velcro one, cause it was just full of potential sexual innuendo. But this one caught my eye.
I've never seen the movie, either. But I am happy to see this prompt used. And you've done a fine job so far with this. ---Kitten form, interesting. People think they are helpless and cuddly, but they scratch,bite, and trip up people (as well as chew. ) oh yes, helpless and cuddly, indeed. It does rather fit him. From what I read about the movie, I had expected more of a serious tone, but am happy to see some humour worked in.Just one little problem, please don't say '4 A. M. in the morning.' 'A. M.' OR 'in the morning' bu t not both.

Interesting premise! Thank goodness for plot bunnies. It already strikes me as tragic, tho I desperately (and secretly, so don't tell anyone) want a Severus for myself who is stuck in animal form. Don't know why. Just do.

Author's Response: I secretly want an animal Severus too. But hey, if he wasn't in love with Hermione in this story he'd probably be creating a fiasco and breaking everything in sight.

When I write Snape/Hermione fics, I always try to find some kind of antagonist towards their relationship and it's usually Ron who makes a fool of himself.I generally dislike Ron. Think of him as being a bit like 'Bottom' from A Midsummer Night's Dream in this story.
