His lover is cursed to be a hawk at night. Weasley is pawing all over her. Voldemort's still not dead. And the old codger is still meddling. Worst of all, Severus Snape is a bloody kitten.

Writes a lot.
Doesn't post that much though.
Actually thinks out plots in the shower.
Still likes drawing on the misted-up glass despite her age.
Lacks the concentration span to finish off her stories.
Has a problem juggling three languages (so please forgive me if my English isn't too good!)

So did Hermione change into a Hawk in the Library? Other than that question, I am enjoying this story very much. Thanks for tkaing on this tough challenge.
The last bit confused me. If Hermione becomes a hawk at night, would she still at the same spot the next morning. And why would 'he cat' think she'd been up all night? and if he knew what was happening with Weasley last chapter after the change, why would he not know she was his bird? why doesn't she know or remember anything during her change? even in Lady Hawk they could see each other for a brief split second when they changed each dawn and each sunset - that was part of the torture.Still, I loved the part with Lucius - informative. and the bits about how the creation of a spell works
Too funny! Sneeky little kitty (and BAD Peeves! - NOT) ;-)

Thanks!
I really like your explination on how Peeves came into being, and how to destroy him. I can just see Lucius trying his hardest to get some revenge on him after the catnip incident!

Thanks!I enjoyed writing the Peeves bit - and Lucius isn't done with our favourite poltergeist just yet.

Spelling's right.I like adding my little touches to J.K. Rowling's world, cause she doesn't give us all the details in the books. I made the poltergeist thing up completely cause I was bored and wanted to make things a little more interesting, not just between Ron and Severus and Sevvie and Lucius.I'm really slow at finishing my chapters right now, cause I'm being lazy.

There is something irresistable about Calvin and Hobbes, and something irresistable about Kitten!Severus.
Response from moogling (Author of Cursed)
I agree. I never get tired of Calvin and Hobbes. However, with Kitten!Severus, I think it has potential to become a really bad cliche after a while. But that's just me.
Response from WriterMerrin (Reviewer)
Well, of course I'm looking forward to his regaining his human form ;)

I like that Peeves and the "kitten" worked together to do this to Malfoy. Haha
Response from moogling (Author of Cursed)
Thanks!Hopefully, if my plot bunny allows it, I'll stick in more Peeves. But next chapter, we'll definitely see Malfoy try and get revenge on the poltergeist.

Catnip juice! hahahahaaa! heheee. ahhh. I like that a lot.

Thanks!Next chapter, we'll see Lucy try and bring hell upon Peeves because of the catnip concentrate.

The first thing that came to mind was:This is like LadyHawke except with the Harry Potter universe.Second thing: Severus is a kitten?...Cuuute:)
Response from moogling (Author of Cursed)
yeah, well, this was following the LadyHawke prompt, so it had to at least have a little semblance to the movie. I've never watched it so I guess it's easier for me to mess around with the plot. And yes, Sevvie is a kitten. The evil kitten.

Loved the catnip cologne for 'Lucy'.
Even as a kitten, Snape can express his contempt, can't he? That was too cute.Looking forward to more.

Since I've never seen the movie, I can simply sit back and enjoy your story without making comparisons. I must, however, add my dismay at the thought of Ron teaching Potions!Looking forward to more.

very funny! Peeves is cool! :)

Thanks!I'm still not quite sure whether I should put Peeves into the main plot or whether he stays as a little diversion.

OMG Calvin and Hobbes! and catnip! This is such fun! Thank you for another delightful chapter! And thanks for giving us some information on Peeves, and Poltergeists in general. I love it when people add their own touches to JKR's world.

Thanks!I love Calvin and Hobbes - and the transmogrifier machine is kind of relevant, cause in one strip, Calvin goes into the machine and becomes a tiger.

The reference to Calvin and Hobbes was great. I also like the Cheshire bit. Peeves is definitely Chesire-like. I loved Peeves' nickname for Lucius. Is that canon or did you come up with that? I don't remember seeing it.
Response from moogling (Author of Cursed)
'Lucy' isn't canon.I can imagine Peeves with a Cheshire grin - he's definitely the person to do it.

Concentrated catnip on Lucius? That was wonderful.
Response from moogling (Author of Cursed)
Yeah. Sadly, catnip didn't work on M. (my cousin's cat) so the catnip stuff was mostly guesswork.More to come!

Yup, it was LadyoftheMasque's "Spinster".

Thanks! I'll put it in the Author's Notes - I didn't remember who it was by, but it was a good idea.

Lol, perrrrrfect justice for Lucy. Looking forward to more.
Response from moogling (Author of Cursed)
There will be more revenge on Lucy, don't worry. But I think I have to focus a teeny bit more on Sev and Hermione now.

"Spinster" was where you read about the scrabble tiles, I'm almost positive.
