Hmm, what is the old codger up to now?
Interesting start and interesting plot! I look forward to read more!
Quite pleased with the beginning. It's a less-usual way to tell a story, and I like it all the more for that. Looking forward to more!
Interesting beginning... very interesting. I'm eager for more!
I like the format so far. I can't wait to find out what Albus had Severus plant.
Isn't that magnanimous of ol' Albus to give Sev the night off. Whoopie! I need to do some washing of my brain with Firewhiskey. lolGreat start. Can't wait for more. :-D
I actually enjoy stories told in this kind of letter/journal format. I'm looking forward to reading more, though I must admit I'm a bit puzzled about how you're going to tie this into the prompt. I can see that Albus Dumbledore is his usual manipulative self in this story. I'll be following this one avidly.
Interesting take on this prompt. I look forward to more.
Interesting start. I wondered about the way you are presenting the story at first, but I think I'll quite enjoy it. Thanks for posting.
A quiet transition, NOw when is the lightening going to strike? I want to find out what both Dumbledore and Lucius have up their sleeves.
I like the image of side-by-side toothbrushes. And I think that as Hermione and Severus become closer, emotionally, the diary's pages will merge. Sounds reasonable to me.Looking forward to more of this.
I liked your 'morning after' take on the wedding night from Snape's POV. Hope we'll see Hermione's POV as well.
'Good Lord, that man is a travel agent. For guilt trips, that is.' This could quite possibly be the funniest, most original line I've ever seen -- and so true!I love this story.
I am so glad that Severus is 'accepting' Hermione.
One minor correction to note. You have "she talks to much by default" but it should be too much. Other than that a very good chapter.
Exactly what a girl of her age would be thinking. Good chapter.
And now we're getting down to it! Whoot! Off to the next--er--hold on! Where is then next chapter? *Fold arms and taps foot on the floor* I don't see any typing! I must have the next, and the next, and so on!
Better and better! Even though Albus is 'holding the strings', he will pull our players right where we want them to be--together. Er, I hope... off to read the next!
Ah HA! The plot thickens! She's not annoying him as much as before! Off to the next...
Smart of Dumbledore as well, though I find it underhanded and sneaky of him... Hmmm contradicting myself, but I see where reading her journal would help him, but I find it an intrusion of her privacy! HA HA anyway, well done! Off to continue!
I love how he worked his was around to the possiblilty of Albus reading HIS journal! Getting better....
Sending it to Dumbledore was very smart of her! Still interesting! Off to the next!
Very interesting start! Off to chapter 2!
Ha! Now I have a suspicion as to why Hermione should have one of these journals, and I'm even more certain that they're both being monitored. Apparently Dumbledore has been in league with Trelawney for a while, and I wouldn't be surprised if she actually first had a vision to do with a he and a she obviously being bonded the first time Dumbledore spoke to her and she made the other prophecy.
Thank you! That's Ron out of the picture. I'm sure Dumbledore "forgot" any and all privacy charms completely on purpose. So that's what they were talking about. Of course I should have been able to guess that.I'll bet it'll end up being Severus and Hermione and I'll also bet it's got something to do with the journals.
