Oh, please, Severus -- vent! Vent enough for all of us who think Dumbledore is an interfering old fool! He may not use the Cruciatus to bend people to his will, but his way is just as effective.I don't mind the short chapters -- in fact I prefer them in this case.

That is a creepy idea that AD might be monitoring what Severus writes in his journal. I am annoyed along with Snape.

Loved how Hermione had the book checked! And Lucius! He’s not baking on Snape’s good graces is he? Loved the line: Terrifying thought, that, as he is the one who gave this journal to me years back. My patients were looking at me like I’d lost my mind. Oh, well, better laughing at my computer rather than hitting it, right?

Oh, really intriguing. Both Severus and now Hermione have a journal charmed by Dumbledore to use? Why? It was so cool that Hermione checked the book out before using but then she is a sharp cookie! Again, just enough to develop intrigue – just enough to let us get a little information, but just vague enough to leave us wanting more. Very well done.

What an interesting premise! The letters only give you so much but you have supplied just enough to create interest and rouse curiosity. I look forward to reading more!

Well, that answers the question of why the journals.  Dumbledore wants the bonding so they can defeat the Dark Lord.  Lovely chapter.

Hmmm, she is trusting Dumbledore, even though she doesn't know where the bok comes from and he has not even seen it. I wonder if she did not learn anything from the CoS episode?
