Everything is just fine :D Thanks, hun!
ZOMG did dumb and dumber hear Snape give Hermione their meeting time??
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Who is he trying to convince? You'd better blow some of that Wellington breeze over here, I need cooling down LOL :)
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
LOL! Thanks Sunny! You can have this Wellington weather anytime ;)
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
Change of mind , you can keep your poxy weather, it all blows up the Sputh Island and over to you, skips us altogether , nanananana :P
Being the peverse fan girl that I am this was myfavorite line Opportunities like this saunter my way so rarely that I can scarcely deny myself this release. I like the idea that there have been others! Naughty school girls!!
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
:D I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you
Well, this Severus definitely has issues with intimacy. Reject her before she rejects you (because you know that is what is coming). I think you did a good job of showing the insecurity that plays out in his defensiveness and agression toward others. The question you leave open for interpretation is whether his life-long habits of fleeing closeness will continue to keep him isolated from intimacy or whether this experience with Hermione will open his mind to consider that he does have other options. I like the way you have him wrestling with himself. It is so believable that he would view his desire for intimacy as a weakness while at the same time viewing sex-without-intimacy as repulsive. He has painted himself into the corner with no options, only to be faced with a Hermione that thinks "what paint?" and "what corner?" It makes you wonder what happens when he "stays."Great story. Well-written, with a compelling point of view. Thank you.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Severus has intimacy issues indeed! I do like the way Hermione turned out in the fic myself, she's that breath of reality that Severus needed. Thanks so much for such a well thought out review - it's very much appreciated!
I just love your story. I really like your Severus point of view, it makes him so endearing! It would be great if you decided to go on with the story. I´d love to know how you would develop their relationship and how they would have kept it from the members of the Order. Sorry about the grammar mistakes but I can´t help them since english isn´t my first language. Thanks for your stories, they´re great!
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
One day I might come back and write some more chapters, but now I have a couple of other fics I need to finish :) Thank you!
How funny, I just found this story this morning and now just received an update that it was finished. Lucky me! I am used to your tales to be from Hermione's POV - this was different. I liked it. Severus trying so hard to be a bastard and deny himself humanity. However, he just cannot avoid being (somewhat) decent. I especially loved the end. All in all, great story! I hope you continue writing so I can continue reading!
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Writing from Snape's POV was a fun change from Hermione :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I haven't got plans at this stage to continue this fic any further, but I do almost have Mission IV finished and a couple of other plot bunnies nibbling away at me. Thanks so much for the lovely review :D
Response from hgelman (Reviewer)
Now, my day is truly made - every so often I sneek a peek at Mission IV with the hope that there is a new chap. I love all of your writing but I think the 'Mission' series is my favorite! Which is (of course) why I am voting for it on the SS/HG awards - congrats on the nom!
His internal monologue is absolutely delicious! The way he tries to reaffirm his own opinion, but somehow manages to convince himself that he is wrong is wonderful.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I much prefer writing in first person, it allows for so much more depth to what is happening.
It's always enjoyable to read your work. This was a delightfull little tale, and you managed the whole 'end the story but leave it open' very well. Thank you.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Thank you very much!
Isn't it great when the heart decides to do the thinking for those who have no clue what they really need. I can't wait for the next installmnet. Great Fic.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Wow! Thank you so much! The last chapter is up now :)
I'm probably going to repeat myself every single chapter, but here I go anyway...I love your writing and your portrayal of Snape (sorry, Professor Snape) just kills me! Can't wait for more :)
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Awww, thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! The last chapter is up now :D
Oh the beatific smile on my face!A new Fervesco Fic...(sort of)...be still my heart!Midnight it is.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Midnight has arrived (next chapter is up now!) Thank you so much for the review :D
hah. goodness I do hope there's more.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Last chapter is up now - thanks!
Wonderful! Severus is in character, IMO, and Hermione is strong and doesn't simply cry and give up, waiting for some man to validate her self-worth. I love strong Hermione. I think by the time she leaves school she will be ready to ask the World for what she wants, and kick the World around a bit until she gets it!
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
I totally agree, I can't imagine, after all she's been through, Hermione not knowing and demanding what she wants! Thanks so much!
Can it be that the second chapter is even better than the first? OBVIOUSLY YES D: (and I already gave you 5 stars last time, dammit!).
'Instead, in the essence of the moment, I smile sarcastically and drawl, Whoops.'
- That, my beloved author, was so -Snape- it couldn't have been more.. Snape. If you know what I'm talking about, lol.
Stories like these make me realize how much more I have to learn until I can accomplish something like this. sigh.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
I'm glad you think Snape is being Snape :D Thank you so much for such a wonderful review, I'm grinning from ear to ear now :D
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
Oh. My. God!
In front of Harry and Ron!
I am dancing, dancing in my chair!
(How did I not mark this last night when I read the first chapter? I had no idea a second chapter was up. Well! Off to favorite it now, so I won't miss the next!)
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Awww...thanks Mia! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
I don't know if I should feel sorry for Severus or be real angry at him:-) Luckely for him, Hermione is more "secure in her own skin" than he is and gives him a seccond chance. Weaker girls would have run away a long time ago. Not that Severus would have wanted a weaker girl:-)) Hopefully he will prove himself smart this time around, even for smart and strong girls like Hermione it should be limited how many seccond chances they give to insecure prats. Even sexy insecure prats:-))Update again soon.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
I'd never really thought about that too much (at least not that I can remember) but it is a change to have a Hermione who is more secure than Severus! Thank you for making me think and for the lovely review :D
'Whoops' indeed. Surely Severus Snape could come up with something more intimidating than 'whoops'! However, as he is in the waves and trollops of despair and love, his brain seems to have been washed away! Brilliant story so far, keep posting, or I will be forced to come and find your computer to finish reading it.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Thank you! The last chapter is up now :D
Whoops, indeed. I do believe our dear Professor meant to say the opposite.
whoops indeed!
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Tee hee hee! Hey Sunny, where in NZ are you? North or South? I'm stuck in Wellington, currently being blown to pieces :D
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
LOL I'm just a few km away as the crow flies in Blenheim *waves*, no wind here, was a beautiful day today
Oh my goodness...I absolutely loved it!You are a very talented writer and I was so excited when I saw that you had posted a new ( to me anyway) story!I love your characterization of Snape. This line sums up why I like your stories so much: "I pull the crass, snarling bastard out from under the layers of needy Severus, and summon up what marginally passes as a glare."Very sexy, witty and touching all rolled into one. Thanks for sharing!
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Thank you!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it - and all those kinds words... *blush*
Aww! Poor Sev. I'm glad you decided to post this here. I can't wait for the next chapter.
Response from Fervesco (Author of Human)
Thank you!!
i think this is a wonderful start to a story thank you
