Why is Professor Snape clutching his forearm in pain? Has the Dark Lord risen again? Those seated at the High Table are left to wonder that very question as they witness Severus’ hurried exit from the Great Hall. Oneshot; DH compliant – but definitely EWE.
A response based on a mini-challenge by CharmedForce at Potter Place. Write a story based on the Butterfly Effect (i.e. a butterfly in China beating its wings causing a tornado in the Midwest).

I am amazed and enthralled with the Harry Potter universe, with the emphasis on Snape. HG/SS is my favorite ship (you have been warned). I like sci-fi ? Star Wars, Quantum Leap, Star Trek, and Ray Bradbury to name a few. Horror also catches my interest as in Stephen King. I am a married, mother of two teenagers, multiple pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, turtle), and I work way too many hours. The rest is window dressing and subject to change without notice. Severus grabs his arm and the Dark Lord must be on the rise! Wonder what they would do if Harry grabbed his forehead at the same time?~Dies laughing.~“There are no rules forbidding the staff from seeing one another. This did start after she’d cease being a student?” One brow rose questioningly as Minerva looked from one to the other.Oh, what a perfect Minerva! Nice to know she still has the ability to make former students of any age start with guilt. I'm sure glad she's on their side!
I wonder what exactly they were doing so that she scratched his arms ???

I really enjoyed this story! It was really cute, and had me wonderring, after Severus grabbed his left arm, whether Voldemort had returned. Rats! I thought the emot would be at the end of my 1st sentance,,,Sorry about that! First time reviewer on TPP!Anyway, when the truth was revealed I was happy, and LMAO at it and at Minerva's reaction.And lol@ Hermione for her comment about her and Severus not being able to get out of bed, with regards to Minerva's remark that no one knew of their relationship.Great story and congratulations! Sorry about the bad emot!
