This was a wonderful story. I've read a few different takes on Severus' potential vampire status. I would have to say that I find this one to be the most entertaining and well-written of what I've read to date. I like the different types of vampires, and the way you had his mother give her own life to offer him a chance at the love he'd never known in his life.Nicely done.

i have to agree with the other comments and say that this is by far one of the best stories i've read. it has such a highly original plot, and you managed to not only make the topic of vampires seem natural to the story, but real and logical. well done! it's about time all that hokey "i vant to suck your blooood" stuff was ended! i can't wait to read more of your work!

I was trying to avoid just that - "i vant to suck your bloood" Being a teacher I am always challenged at taking in all the elements so that I can think outside the box. This story was very much a challenge and a satisfaction in writing it. Now beware - most of my other stories are full of humor!
