Yay for Remus being alive! I hope this cure works, and I hope Remus doesn't butt into Severus' and Hermione's relationship again. But I do hope he realizes that just because someone isn't friendly isn't a reason to bully them. His actions toward Severus caused a lot of damage, and he has a lot of nerve thinking that it was all Severus' fault. I hope Severus doesn't bugger it up with Hermione right now.

For the scene at the end ... Way to go, Gryffindor! No wonder Severus ends up surrounded by Gryffs... he requires that open, honest bluntness that he is always denigrating. He never would have gotten or trusted a Slytherin to answer him without the Veritaserum. I hope once the potion testing is over that you go back and allow Remus and Severus to hash out the rest of that conversation about Lily.

Great chapter, although I wish I knew if the new potion was a sucess or not.

Oh, this was WONDERFUL! That was the perfect place to end the chapter and I can hardly wait to see what Severus' response will be.This is the first post DH fic that I have read where both Severus and Dumbledore survived that I am happy with the reason for the change from canon. So many of the others I have read have such contrived "solutions" that I had to stop reading them. I was so happy to finally find a story where the situation and the method of the deception were plausible as well as realistically developed and expressed. I also like the fact that you didn't have Hermione and Severus just falling into bed with each other without having their emotional relationship develop first. Hermione's training as a massage therapist is a wonderful idea and I can so easily see her learning to do it. I definitely like the way you are handling the characterizations and developing the plotline. A most excellent job.

Thank you for another wonderful chapter!  The bit about the Prophet  cracked me up.  Hermione's answer to Seversus at the end of the chapter was touching.  I can't wait to see how he responds.

I loved the idea of vit D for the potion. Brilliant. I hope Hermione breaks into his walls. They are really good togther in this story.

A, er, is Severus a werewolf also? His crimes? What?Good story, but so little imformation and too much hinted at, I'm drawing all kinds of ridiclous conclusions.

Ok, confused - Albus is a werewolf? I got the tranfigured feather thing... And how did Severus managed to fool everyone - How? - in the shack?  Explanations are in order.I loved that he melted under her hands. Too bad he mistook it for pitty.

Great chapter, aren't the Gryffindor males all cast out of the same mould, they all feel they have to protect Hermione from making her own choices!

Somehow, I don't think he's going to take her last sentence well at all. I like the confusion, that Albus and Severus thought Tonks and Remus were dead and vice versa--just goes to show that one shouldn't believe everything one sees in print.

Brilliant update and Hermiones words at the end; they were so perfect!!!  What Severus needs is the reassurance of unconditional love, and Hermione gave it to him when he needed it the most! Absolutely fantastic!

Love that sexual tension - the potion with the vitamin D - very original and interesting. I cannot wait to see what happens and what the boys will do when they find out that they are alive.

OH man - Severus is going to loose it when he wakes up with her in his bed....Snarky will return in full force.
