Reviews for Memoria
these portraits are not so horrible to those who loved the holders of the portraits and are still alive. they bear something soothing.but only somethimes. somethimes it must be maddening. being surrounded by the dead and still having them around like half-living people.well. Hermione seems to have arranged with the advantages and disadvantages of this state and these options. At least in your story exists a portrait of dear Severus. And he still frightens the kids. waah

I agree with you on the potraits.
I know this is a one shot, but you need a sequel of Rose talkign to Severus' portrait. He would have to talk with her, as long as she has Hermiones eyes.Great story though.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
This is such a nice story - I really like the part at the end with the portrait and cup of tea. That is so sweet, and just a little bit sad too. I think it's a perfect ending to the story.

Thank you, I thought it was a good way to show that they still had a connection.
Very nice! I especially liked the 'steaming teacup on a coffee table'. So sad!

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
What a wonderful story! I could see Hermione and Severus being so much in love, and after his death that she and Ron would marry and have their family.I liked that Hermione was open to answering Rose's questions and was glad that she saw a memory of her mother and Severus making love... for just a few seconds. It made the memory of them in the Forest of Dean have so much more meaning, and yet it did not take a thing away from her parents obvious love and devotion to each other and their children. Severus was Hermione's first love and was killed before they could build a life together... you just don't forget the ones you love even though you lose them and have to go on living and make a new life for yourself! Well done! I'm going to see if you've posted that sequel yet. Thank you.Beth

Thanks for reading~!
I absolutely loved this. I can definitely see Hermione being very open and honest with her children. I had a nice little chuckle when Rose saw the wrong memory. That's something every child dreads recognizing that their parent(s) even do! Very well-written, just the right amount of description, and the emotions were very tangible. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

I really enjoyed the elegance of this story. You packed a lot of emotion and information into a few very well chosen words, and worked it seamlessly into the story, as well. Thank you for a wonderful read.

Thank you very much! I was a bit worried, because people tell me I use too much description a lot.
I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
