I think I've read this somewhere before, but probably didn't leave a comment (hides in shame).
Anyway, it's a lovely start - it's so good to read a bit of fluffy AU now and then. I like this Severus, introspective and a little bit less prickly (although he does try with Minerva!).

*smiles* no need to hide... I am glad to hear that you like the start. I have tried to make Severus wry and witty but have decided to lessen the bitterness in his character for this little tale - since this is pure AU fluff :-)))
