Ooooooh. Intriguing... *turns page*GG
ooooo... he remembers!! and he's back to his old self! Now what will happen!!
i barely know what to say. on the one hand, snape is himself again - a mixed blessing, as i suppose it represents 'progress' for hermione's goal - but having to be in all that pain again. and all that anger. i think you handled the scene with dumbledore quite well. the scene with lily was heartbreaking. great chapter; please update soon!
I wonder what is hidden in there!
oooh, so good and original!
This is very good. i can't wait to read more when it comes out great job!!
Wow, this is getting really intense! I wonder what the secret behind that garden is....hmm. Good job!
another really interesting chapter. i liked how you described the kiss, where he was drinking her color, light and warmth. poor hermione, though, thinking his being drawn to her was about her and finding out it was because she brought him his wand! and i'm curious about that garden. oh, and i liked that the wise old man was moody and not dumbledore - that was a nice twist. i'm looking forward to whereever you take us in the next chapter!
Very interesting, I love how Hermione is asking questions and trying to understand things.
What a kiss - and she is on a mission - how will she get him out and what will the others do in the underworld. I cannot wait to see.
this is really a terrific story. i had been meaning to read it for some time and just never had gotten to it. it's kind of scarey to see hermione so close to the edge. and it's very interesting to read your vision of the underworld. it makes sense that this world is like a distant memory, or even forgotten, but i found it a little disturbing that tonks didn't remember that she was with remus - seems like something should have stuck with her! it is nice to see severus without his armor in place. i am extremely intrigued and very much looking forward to reading more.
What a chapter - and what a mess up on Hermione's part - they all have forgotten so much of their former lives and then the whole Remus and Tonks situation - how could she have know - so sad and so sad that Severus does not seems to know.
Very interesting. Part of my religious beliefs are when you die you remember your existance ( we believe all life has a soul and that each soul existed before life and continues on), so all of the confusion between Tonks and Remus and Albus and his family caught my interest.
Interesting chapter - I liked that she awoke to him touching her. It was so human for Severus in the way that he was doing it. I cannot wait to see how or if you remove him from the underworld. I have never read a fanfiction fic with this premise so I am excited.
Is Dumbledore in the Elysian fields, somehow I think not.I think he has to push his on rock at the mountain.

Errr, apart from the shades before, everyone you meet is in the Elysian fields. My view is, if James Potter gets in, so does everyone else. :P
Elysian fields, there is a god, you don't take a man from there.
The scene in the fields with all the others before was so strange. I understand why Lily walked away because she had forgotten about Harry and when Hermione mentioned him - it made her sad. Severus seems content there - he might not want to leave - they all seem content except maybe Sirius. Interesting chapter.
Ok who died and left Moody in charge? lol!
Well, now. She has found him. I can't wait to find out more about the outside. And what the difference is between the Elysian fields and the fields of Asphodel.Tamara aka
I wonder what Hermione really wants to say to Severus. I can't wait to read more of this story. Well done Deathofme.Tamara aka
I wonder what the difference is between the Asphodel and Elysian fields and why Severus lives in the Elysian fields. Does it have to do with how "good" someone was in life? I imagine a placid Severus would be a strange thing indeed. I had been wondering why he had eventually called Hermione by her first name, when in life he probably would not have done so.

Thank you very much for your review. I believe your questions will be answered later on in the fic, if indirectly.
Hmm. It is quite strange that some portraits have life and moment while others do not. Perhaps some people moved to a different place during death. It doesn't seem like they didn't accept death, because then they would be ghosts. Maybe they do not want any connection with the living. I am quite eager to hear your explanation of this situation.
Response from Deathofme (Author of Pomegranate Seeds)
Oops, I'm afraid there's not much more explanation other than the one written in the chapter. Some wizards/witches just do not feel like leaving behind a shade, as some do not choose to come back as ghosts. And Snape is definitley one of those people.Hope that clears it up, and thanks very much for reviewing!
Good chapter, even if it's a bit short. You may want to explain a bit about the different fields as I was totally lost.

There are two fields in the Underworld. The Field of Asphodel and The Elysian fields.
Asphodel - the dead who go there were common folk who weren't very good or very bad. They live as mere shades.
Elysian - the folks who did good with their lives are granted a more privileged afterlife, in which they are more than mere shades.
Hope that clears it up, thanks for the review! :)

OK now I understand what's going on a bit better. Thanks!
Interesting chapter - I am glad that you let her find him early on so that their adventure can begin. This was perfect timing. The description of the underworld so far was very interesting.
so strange and eery, everyone seems to be alot calmer in death, but not like they are at peace per say
