Reviews for Worth a Thousand Words
excellent work on this so far - I am really enjoying your characterization and your wordsmithery is grand!! Thanks for the hard work!
How sweet! I love thinking of Hermione and Severus being able to talk to one another and discuss the things they both share an interest in.
I'm sorry that this is the final chapter because I would truly love to see what happens in their shared future.

Oh my, the Professor has some self-forgiving of his own to accomplish, doesn't he? This chapter was so lovely and sweet. Perhaps Hermione and Seveus can help each other to come to terms with their own regrets and move on to a more hopeful future.
Nicely done.

Now that's the Professor Snape we all know and love! I had to laugh at the totality of all the information he spouted. LOL!

Ah ha. So that's how Portrait!Snape came to be in Neville's quarters. A very interesting twist to an already intriguing plot.
I am still a bit curious about why Snape's portrait was banished to the work shed. And I can't wait to see how Hermione and Snape get on. Will his portrait come to reside in her quarters?
Very good chapter!

What's Portrait!Snape doing in Neville's chambers and not in the Headmaster's Office?
Hermione has certainly experienced a shock, and I must find out what happens next! Nice chapter, nice cliffie!

It's nice to read Ron as a mature man capable of great understanding and sacrifice. Usually he is portrayed as an immature git, and this is a nice turn around. I can't wait to see how this plays out!
Beth
I like that, it is hopeful.
Sweet, if short, chapter. I enjoyed the tentative friendship gesture.
He's a softie at heart, but don't tell anyone! :)
Really good read, am I to assume the placing of Severus' portrait plays an important part in the plot? My mind is bringing wicked things to the fore at the moment ;o)
You have me completely entranced - do press on !!! This is perhaps one of the best of the HG/SS renderings I've ever read - so very honest and believable.....
How sad for Hermione, hopefully she will feel better in retrospect. I was relieved when my divorce was final.
Brilliant, bloody brilliant! And good to know that he's ambidextrous!

Prefers women on top, yeah? That's handy to know.

I am very glad you enjoyed the chapter. Only two more to go. Thank you for reading and reviewing.
That last line was hysterical.
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
*warm smile* Our Hermione is quite determined. Thanks for taking the time to read. I hope you continue to enjoy the story.
I am so thrilled to read a story where Ron is portrayed as a good guy instead of a jerk! It's an "easy out" for a lot of stories, and I appreciate the authors who go the extra mile and manage to have Hermione and Severus come together while keeping true to Ron's good-hearted personality. I can't wait to read more!
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
I must confess I have never written Ron's voice before, and I never expected him to be this compassionate or level-headed. It just seemed to fit in the context of this story.Thank you for reading and reviewing. I hope you will venture to read the other chapters and continue to enjoy the story.
I laughed with Severus's description of himself - she has him churning does she not - Lol. Cannot wait to see what happens next.
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
*laughs* She certainly does. Hermione is tops at whatever she does.I appreciate you taking the time to review, and I am very glad you are enjoying my tale.
Funny chapter, did the line "I collect spores, molds and fungi' come form Ghostbusters"? That is almost exactly what Egon said!
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Bravo to you!! Part of me feels that Egon and Severus are quite similar in their quirks. Egon is simply easier to approach. :DThanks for reading and reviewing.
Really clever about the portraits and how and why they were made! I like that aspect very much. And also pairing Snape and Neville together is great. I think this could be a really interesting story!!
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Thank you!! I hope you continue to read and enjoy until the end.
Great chapter - like the explanation of Severus painting coming into being and dear lord trapped in a shed with the Carrows and Voldemort - that is torture.
Thank goodness Neville rescued him away.
Like it so far.
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Thank you for your lovely review. I am glad to know you are enjoying the story thus far. I should have the next chapter up by mid-week.
Locked in a shed with the Carrows and Voldie.. ewww!
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Ewww is definitely right!! Ewww and terrifyingly dreadful. I think I would have spent my time with my fingers in my ears whilst yelling, 'Lalalalalalalalalalalalala.'
Thanks!
I want to know too! In Neville's bedroom, AND being funny, did the paint fumes get to him??
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Did the paint fumes get to him?
*smiles* No, but I cannot help but envision him as having quite the comedic timing. He is dead, so he has to get some enjoyment out of his painted existence.
I hope you continue to enjoy the story, and thank you for your review.
