Reviews for Worth a Thousand Words
Nice handling of the break-up, tears but not anger.
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
So often break-ups are filled with loads of despair, unchecked anger and sometimes violence. I wanted to explore a different side of it. I have no doubt Ron was angry initially, but had time to cool off and put everything into perspective.
Thanks for reading and reviewing.
hmmm, I wonder what Voldermort thought of his second 'killing' trust Neville to come up with a creative ending!

Definitely not a happy camper, not at all.
Thanks for the read and review. I truly hope you are enjoying the progression of the story.

This is the first chapter that I've read of this story, but what a great place for me to start, frankly. Fascinating backstory from Neville, there, and now I'm all curious about what happened the night before and Hermione's mischievious children! Am off to read I and II!

Yay!! I hope you do indeed read the first two chapters and enjoy them. Thank you for your review.
I really like that explanation, actually.

This section was exciting for me to write. I have a deep affinity for secondary characters, and I could not help but let Neville shine.
I appreciate your time and praise.
That was quite interesting.

:D While I'll admit I've read some pretty interesting Neville/Bill fics, he only has eyes for the ladies in this story. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

The thought of Snape cursing is wonderfully amusing. I adored the way you had him sum himself up in just a few sentences and then tell them to get stuffed! I wish I could hear him after stopping by that wine bar portrait. Which, by the way, is a fabulous idea. I wonder if the portrait network has a series of locales like shops and bistros and other nice places for all the portraits to visit. It's fascinating to think they could step from city to city and all different times just by stepping from one picture to another!

“It’s my own special concoction of feverfew and anise-hyssop, blended into a gelatine-like substance and used to relieve pain in the head and tooth areas. Just last month, Professor Snape helped me find the proper balances in the formula, effectively creating an alternative to your standard headache treatment,” he added with pride.Neville and Snape have quite an interesting relationship going there. It makes perfect sense after Neville saved him from that living hell as a portrait. The very thought of him there with those maniacs sends shivers up my spine. No wonder he doesn't talk about it.

::nods:: Exactly my thoughts when writing. Thanks!

“Hardly! You aren’t the first to indulge in a nip every now and then, and you certainly won’t be the last. Just wait till you start working with those little blighters on a daily basis. Then you’ll understand why Trelawney’s always pissed.”I absolutely adore your Neville. He's all grown up, but still the same sweet guy we knew. Your Snape is delightfully Snarky and much more fun as a portrait than the man himself was ever allowed to be! And still the consummate Slytherin, taking advantage of whatever situation he can.

And still the consummate Slytherin, taking advantage of whatever situation he can.But of course!! Death cannot stop true Slytherins. ;)

Gee, I could have sworn I reviewed this when I came back to choose the quote for the SSHG Picture Perfect Quiz. Apparently not. Sorry about that. I intend to make it up to you now. It's refreshing to have an understanding, noble Ron who acknowledges what they both need and ends the marriage without totally trashing their relationship. “Kia …” he choked. That is a fabulous term of endearment for Hermione. Brava!
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Thank you so much for taking the time to you review whether it comes sooner or later. ::warm smile::

Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
You almost make me want to like him! lolKeyword being almost, yes? :DThank you, my friend, for your kind words. I hope you enjoy the remainder of the story.
Wow! I never expected that! Snape actually being funny! And in Neville's bedroom! What does he do when Neville wants some 'private time'??
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Under all that snark lies a delicious wit. I just had to let it out.
What does he do when Neville wants some 'private time'??
I'm not telling, nope. :D
I am so glad you are enjoying the story. I should have the next chapter up within a few days.
Ron's words brought me very close to tears, which doesn't happen that often with him. Very well done.

*gets hanky ready just in case*
I am pleased you found this chapter to be moving. I had a special playlist I listened to when writing it to keep me in the proper mindset.
Thank you for your review.
Okay - this is interesting - why would Severus painting be in Neville's room? Lots of questions - good writing.
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Lots of questions
And I have many answers, some of which will be revealed in the next chapter.
Thank you for taking the time to read and review. :)
Oh man this chapter got to me - I cannot believe Ron would let her go or force her away if he loved her. He talked about making her his and he gave her a nickname of Mia - this is surreal in that sense - I hope it becomes clearer with more chapters
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
Despite the fact there was love between them, Hermione and Ron grew apart, more specifically Hermione. Ron's decision to end things between them was due to her repeated deceptions. Hermione spent too much time trying to be someone she wasn't and did not bother to include Ron in major life decisions.
His nickname for her, Kia, was a play on know-it-all.
Thank you for reading and reviewing
That was hysterically funny, actually. Not the divorce part, although that was handled well, but the rest was funny.

heehee, I love it, but WHAT is SNAPE doing in Longbottom's bedroom?
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)

But I can't tell you as that would ruin the surprise!! Next chapter, I promise!!
Thank you for reading and reviewing.
Omg! what a hoot, until next chapter....
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
I would be lying if I said it wasn't a hoot writing it. :D I am so pleased you are enjoying the story.
Wow, Ron grew up! Cookies to the author for that!
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)

It's amazing what you can do when you wield the pen or erm, word document. ;)
Thank you for reading and reviewing, and I hope you continue to enjoy the story.
OK, I like the mature Ron idea. Because the breakups are usually him being an idiot, and I believe the Weasleys have better hearts than that.
Response from LaiksMarei (Author of Worth a Thousand Words)
I believe the Weasleys have better hearts than that.
Ultimately, I believe that as well. There might besome reticence at first, but their loving nature and open hearts will persevere.
Thank you for reading and reviewing. I should have the next chapter up in a fewdays.
