i am sitting here right now with a big, goofy smile on my face. i had printed your other 'love letter' and read it on the bus going home from work and hadn't had a chance to review it yet. then i logged on and saw this companion piece. the other one had left me a little sad, because he was never going to give it to her so she would never know. this was such a brilliant idea, to have her write one and give it to him. i really liked that where he had only thought about breaking into her rooms, she actually DID break into his and snoop through his things. but my absolute FAVORITE thing was her touching all of his books, and how she found it arousing to think of him handling hers. books, i mean. that was so perfectly hermione.

I enjoyed this. I like how you had her give him the letter angrily, rather than in despair. I like that her tone is frustrated and distracted and carried away... even though she's just as obsessed as he is. Somehow you carry it off and give them hope for a real relationship. Thanks!

Your first story has been hauting me; it was very well done. You conveyed Severus' pain very well. It seemed very real; not over-the-top angst, but the anguished musing of a private, pesimistic, emotionally stunted man who has found himself in love. I really didn't see how that scenario could have a happy ending, but you've given us one. It's plausible because the "engine" is the way you wrote Hermione; her brashness leads her to actually give Severus' her letter. Quite a nice touch that she gives it to him angrily! And the letter itself has some very funny moments and the parallels with Severus' letter are delightful (they both tell the other to strengthen their wards, she follows him too and sees him at her door;).  Now that I think of it, their different interpretations of each other make quite a statement about (mis) communication between people.

What a nice ending to their angst!

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. I could almost hear Hermiones voice, ranting the words she had written in her letter. You served a brilliant piece of work here and I enjoyed every minute reading it!!

Finally, some resolved sexual tension. So wonderful. I'm so glad I found it. Thanks for the warm and fuzzy feeling.
