Reviews for In Dreams
Well I suppose Draco was the logical one, he has the money and was in debt to Severus for what he did on the Asttronomy tower.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Indeed. And he has some good in him and here was a way to show that.
Now they both have a job to do, how will she get him out of the hospital, perhaps they will release him to anyone who comes to claim him as no-one has before?
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Good questions!
oops , they distracted themselves at the crucial moment LOL
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
LOL!
would that we all could have dreams like that .... sigh..
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
LOL. Too true. *sigh
The book seems to be simply a mechanism to enable them to understand each other, maybe then they will simply know what to do.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
It is. I hope that you enjoy how it unfolds.
sounds like she has grown up more than he has
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
At this point, indeed she has.
bewitching beginning, wonder what happens next?
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
stay tuned.. :D
WOW!! Thank you, that was beautiful. I just read the whole fic in one go and I loved every moment of it. I shed a few tears and smiled, you know that you are a true writer if you can move your readers like that. Well done.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
That's the best compliment/review, ever! That I can move the reader -- yes, that is what I'm hoping to do. Thank you!
That was a wonderful story!! I looked forward to each and every chapter as you wrote them so well. You took a rather well known part of the books and changed it into a very fascinating story with many twist and turns. Thank you for sharing your talent with those of us who have none. We appreciate the stories you bring to us and the enjoyment we receive from them.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Thank you morganabythesea! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the story. I had never expected to write one, thought I couldn't write fiction -- so don't be so quick to say that you have no ability to do this -- you never know!
I loved this story - what a great original concept. How you took him from dark and unhappy to them in love - it was brillant and well written and I enjoyed it all.

Thank you,

. *blushes at compliments. That's wonderful encouragement for me to try this again, sometime! I appreciate all your reviews!
I loved the entire story, but there is something about this final chapter that I, in my sudden lack of vocabulary, will call beautiful. This was so poeteic. You painted the beauty of their souls in their entirety so well that it made me yearn to be able to do that as well.Thank you for posting this. It was a real treat!
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Thank you so much,

! *blushes. I'm so happy that you enjoyed it and thrilled at your comments about how it's written. It's my first story, so hearing this sort of feedback is so helpful and encouraging! Thanks for your help along the way in posting this!
I just love the way you have described their souls... the journey they took through their memories. Brilliant!
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Thank you, I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! Thanks for all your comments, too.
Oh, Draco has some sort of redemption appearing, it seems. I'll be interested in seeing if you are just casually mentioning him here or if that will be a full story arc.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
He won't be a full arc, here. I stayed focused on the pairing in this story (I was writing on a deadline!).
Response from CharmedForce (Reviewer)
You should consider a one-shot sequel where Severus "confronts" Draco. I think you would be able to pull it off very well. I'd love to see that angle pursued.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
It's an interesting idea. I had thought about generally doing a follow-up or epilogue showing what happens next. I may mull that over a bit and see what shows up! It might be interesting to develop these elements more.
Response from CharmedForce (Reviewer)
Of course it doesn't have to include any of the romance between Hermione and Snape. It's just be great to see how you explain Draco's willingness to keep Snape cared for.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
It might be hard for me to write something that doesn't include the romance :) I really should develop that element more, I didn't give it much thought for the story b/c I couldn't spare the time (there was a deadline for the ss/hg exchange). Great ideas, though. Thanks!
Oh, Severus is on a mission. Hermione better come up with a good reason for pulling his body out of that hospital.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Well, she needs his body so that his soul can rejoin it (hopefully).
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
And magic will help her come up with a decent explanation to hospital staff :) (I misunderstood your comment earlier, I think -- sorry about that!)
I love it so far! I've never read a story quite like this - great job! Keep it up!
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Thanks so much! I'm delighted that you're finding it original!
Please don't leave us for to long wondering. What a wonderful story
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Thank you! I hope that you already saw that the final chapter uploaded.
Adding Draco was a good twist!I hope you put more of him in the story, hes my second favorite guy!
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
*grins. Thanks! I stay pretty focused on our pair in this story, but maybe there's more to tell at a later date about Draco. :)
I wonder how Draco was able to leave the Shrieking Shack with Severus without people noticing. Did Draco know that Severus's oul was missing, but he was still alive? Perhaps Draco thought that Severus was attacked by a dementor as well as Nagini. Hopefully Severus won't be upset that Hermione is sleeping next to his body.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
There are a lot of questions, that's true. Not all will be entirely answered (specifically about Draco) in this story. I've stayed focused on Severus and Hermione -- see what you think in the next chapter.
It seems as if they were married or else magically connected another way. I wonder whether the marriage would be valid outside of Hermione's mind. It would be quite strange if their marriage certificate appeared at the Ministry of Magic.Hopefully Hermione won't have too much difficulty retaining Severus's body. It would be nice if she could learn how the body arrived at the hospital.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Ooh, wouldn't that be interesting -- a marriage certificate appearing at the MoM! I do see this as a magical marriage, but an old one, not one that would generate paperwork :)
I am glad that they are both comfortable enough with each other to use the other's given name. Especially now that they've admitted to caring about each other and have had sex. The problem about having a dream lover is that no one will believe you when you tell them you're already in a relationship. Hopefully Hermione doesn't do anything during her hours awake that would jeopardize her relationship with Severus.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Good points, there, Harrypotterwanter. Thanks for your comments.
The book seems very strange. I am not exactly sure why Healer Shalva recommended it. It seems to have brought them closer together, but not told them more about their dilemma. Maybe when they understand each other better their souls can separate?
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
That book doesn't tell them what to do, even when they wish it would!
How heartbreaking - the way his physical body is all that is left and it is existing like a zombie of some kind... Poor Hermione taking him home and sleeping in the same bed with him while the only way she can truly be with him is to go to sleep and then be with him in her mind. I do hope they riddle out the problem of his restoration. Good writing.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Thank you,
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
. I'm glad that you're enjoying.
I have a feeling that Hermione and Severus will discover a way to separate him from her mind . . . but that his soul will go to the Otherworld rather than to his body. Hopefully their relationship together will at least help each other cope with the past and their feelings. I wonder what Hermione is going to do at St. Mungo's. Maybe talk with some patients?
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Great questions again! :D I hope that you enjoy it as the answers are revealed.
I hope that Severus's soul knows where it prefers to go before they try to join it with his body. If he doesn't want a life with Hermione, then he would probably prefer to be dead. I feel that the more time they spend together in Hermione's mind the more likely his soul will join his body, but I definitely might be wrong.
Response from shefa (Author of In Dreams)
Good questions... it's frightening for both of them since they don't know what to expect.
